Remarks

I approached the university directly for admission since I went through a management seat. Comparing to other dental colleges ( within the city limits) MADC was said to have relatively more OP per day. Dental college's reality is that we need to spend extra money apart from regular annual fees and in this perspective, the extra money you are going to spend is going to be very very less when compared to other top colleges in the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There are 6 basic science departments with approximately 5 - 8 teaching staff each and there are 10 departments for dental. Each department has approximately 10-15 doctors who are in various posts like tutors, readers, lecturers, professors, HOD, etc, and also 10- 15 nonteaching staff in each department. The best thing and unique feature of my college are that every month end we used to have exams of all the subjects we are going to appear in the exam. In MADC that is not the case and tests are immediately evaluated and marks will be sent. No unnecessary spending of money in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Through management seats, we paid around 10 lakh for donations and 6 lakh annual fees for 4 years. If you are ready to spend 40 lakhs then you can go. We were the last batch who escaped from NEET. My immediate juniors who came through NEET were paying fewer fees than us and without donations. But compared to the top 5 colleges within the city, this college has fewer fees.

Campus Life

4

The campus is small compared to other colleges but an extremely happy campus. Lecture halls are air-conditioned and accommodate 100 - 130 at a time comfortably. For girls, there is a separate common hall where we can chill and relax. Restrooms are also maintained very well and clean. Cultural happen yearly once and we are free to participate in any intercollege culture. I am proud to tell you that we bagged the overall championship in MIDAS cultural fest ( all the dental colleges participate) for subsequently 4 times. 2 grounds are there one within the campus another next to campus but both are occupied for parking till 4:00 pm after that it's accessible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just always like art and biology! Dentistry was one field that included art and biology at the same time! This is what influenced me to choose this course! The college prepares you the the NEET MDS exam that is what is the NEXT exam I've talked about. And as dentists we become very precised and and excellent with out hands skills and digital designing better than students of other colleges. I don't think I have anything to say for that where they should improve..I like they're style. The NEXT exams get completed within 1 week or 2 and the University exams gets over by a month

Admission:

The NEET examination is a necessary factor for all the students planning to get an admission here. The other criteria should also be met by the students and then only the college will move further with your application and consider it.

Best thing is the college runs for more than 25 years. And the worst thing is the college still maintains the old infrastructure when compared to any other medical colleges. But still they provide all the latest equipments with 24/7 ambulance services.

I wrote the Tamilnadu State Board examination. Passed out with 96%. I was interested in the field of Medicine. So I opted for this particular dental college through state wide counselling. The college is one of the top private dental college available in the counselling. By the way, marks weren't enough to get into medical college.
