College life at SVECW

The college provides its students with a good learning experience, thanks to its well-qualified lecturers who motivate students to get involved in various technical and non-technical events both within and outside the college. There are several clubs in the college that are supervised by student heads, and they regularly organize various events. The college also has excellent sports facilities and provides guidance for sports. Furthermore, the college environment is beautiful, with gardens and greenery visible all around, making the campus a pleasant place to study. Students can even complete their work outdoors on the college grounds.When it comes to exams, some of us may struggle with the speed at which they are held.

Many reputable companies, such as Visa, Adobe, and IBM, offer internships to students based on their merits. Additionally, the central government also offers internships to students. These internships typically begin during the students' second year of their B.Tech program. Students receive great support from the faculty and head of their respective departments, who guide them throughout the program.

The quality of placements is high, with third-year B.Tech students also securing internships at reputed companies like Visa, Adobe, and FlipkAs they train us on various aspects and it being a women's college, companies tend to show more interest in recruiting women. It's an excellent place to learn and grow.art.

I am required to pay a tuition fee of 70,000 rupees for my education. The cost of hostel and food will depend on the chosen hostel, which offers varying facilities. Currently, I pay 1,18000 rupees per year for both hostel and food. Additionally, the institute charges an extra 12,000 rupees under miscellaneous fees for training us on coding, building projects, and preparing us for interviews.

College festivals are a rare occurrence, but when they do happen, they are celebrated in a grand way. The college has various clubs, mentored by student heads with the assistance of college faculty. These clubs regularly organize events in a well-planned manner, which include both technical and fun activities. The college, as a whole, conducts hackathons, and each department also has its own events.

I currently reside in a college hostel that is well-maintained. Any issues that arise are promptly resolved within a 12-hour window. The food provided is of good quality, and the staff serving us adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols, such as wearing disposable gloves.

The college is excellent as it offers a wide range of courses, including newly added courses like Artificial Intelligence under the CSE domain. The primary criterion for admission to SVECW is through the EAPCET exam. To secure a seat in the college, we must write the EAPCET exam and obtain a good rank. For CSE, people without any reservation need to score a rank between 1k-5k. However, those who have reservations have a different selection process set by the management. They need to submit essential certificates like caste, income in the counseling process.
