Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The faculty and the studies in the college are decent like in other engineering colleges!( Hope you get it) It is an autonomous college so we have our seperate exams not like the university ones so we have 2 mid semester exams and one final end semester exam after every semester. The course is pretty decent in information technology.

Placement Experience

3

I don't really know about the placements they very okay okay for the CS IT branch before but now because of recession companies are rarely visiting the campus for now no idea what happens next! But there were some good placements when I entered the college like one of my seniors from CS got a package of 44 lpa in Amazon ig and there were some more like these.

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically if you are from obc st sc then you get a mptaas scholarship benefit through the government in which you get a decent amount of scholarship which is more than enough to pay the fees of the college. Also there's another scholarship benefit through the Medhavi scheme which avails scholarship on the basis of your 12th percentage scores. You can enroll only for one! I chose the obc scholarship for me as it was of the creator amount! My fees is something around 23000 wherese the scholarship I get is around 30000 for the college itself(course) whereas I stay in hostel so there also I have a charge of 4800 per semester but I get than also in the scholarship. For these all benefits you really need to do some hardword every semester in filling forms online and offline submitting several documents and then after all this you get the scholarship but its pretty worth it I guess!

Campus Life

3.5

Okay the campus life is trash to be honest we do not have any fests or cultural events we just have workshops organised by particular departments! The Library is pretty large and good you get almost everything there and it's really the best place in the college. The rooms and facilities of my department are the best among all other departments in my college we have very good labs with pretty good systems working in it! The sports are there I don't have idea about that! There are many many clubs in the college all tech related and some art related.the club culture of our college is really good!

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is not that bad as per the amount that we give. You just get a bed and a table chair in the room along with 2 fans and 2 lights as 2 people are to be lived in a single room the room is good in terms of area. The food is something I will not comment because I don't like it some people do so no idea!! (it's not good) When you come for admission you can fill the hostel forms and you'll easily be alloted a room affordability is pretty good! You need to pay 4800 for each semester for the room whereas for the food there's different charges as per the mess you avail!

Admission

The admission process was easy. I actually got into the college through the JEE MAINS score. I had a score of 89.6 percentile and so I was alloted the Information technology branch (IT) through the counseling and for the admission travelled to the college in Bhopal and has to fill several forms and submit documents like the 10th and 12th marksheet and the JEE Scorecard etc.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies visiting campus are mostly mass recruiters along with a few product-based and mid-level companies. Most students receive an average package of approximately 5-6 LPA, while higher packages are offered to only a few top performers. Few seniors, whom I know got packages of 8.5 LPA, 12 LPA, and 19 LPA also, so basically higher packages are also offered but their competition is high and only some of them can make it up to that. A good percentage of eligible students receive the placement offers, mainlt in IT and service-based roles, but competition remains there, so one needs to have serious preparation on his or her own. Arond 60%+ students got placed every year from on-campuses placements. The placement cell provides training sessions and interview sessions from the third year onwards. Overall, placements can be considered decent compared to other private colleges in the region. Basically, after completing my graduation, I plan to pursue good placement otherwise prepare further for civil services after understanding career growth, however, this is not my final decision but could make a final one before the completion of course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The manit curriculum for mechanical is quite strong in basics and was a major reason i chose this course .It covers core maths ,mechanics ,physics ,electrical and wrskhopa ,which helps for higher studies and exams .Exams are frequent with midsems ,quizzes and endsems;sometimes the schedule feels packed, but it keeps us regular with the syllabus.Difficulty is moderate if you attend classes and practice .Still , some subjects feel outdated and there should be more software , projects and insustry oriented content.

Placement record is decent, campus drives happens regularly. If no campus placement is offered then it's obvious one has to struggle a bit more to get a decent job but I beleive the college makes the students capable enough to crack the campus placement if a person really is capable then their is no lack of resources from the college. Even if there is no in campus placement I think everyone has a plan B.
