Course Curriculum Overview

3

Actually from my childhood, I have love to plants and gardening. So my dream is to become an agriculturalist and work on plant breeding so that higher amount of food grains can be produced. Not only this but also agriculture is the back bone of Indian economy. Every one needs food for their living. So it is so much important to produce more food for solving the poverty and food scarcity. The facilities is very good, having well educated, co-operative and helpful also. Teaching process is very well. They give good notes and PPT for study. Laboratories are also good with lot's of chemical and instruments are available for practical purposes. But there is a big problem about the practical field which is more important in agriculture education system. So if the practical field will be increased, I hope it will be very helpful for the students. Exams are taken at the interval of 6 months. Each semister have two exams including internal and external. The question is moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

5

Syngenta, Baayer, Agro chemicals, and seed and fertilizers companies give the internship opportunity. Not only this but also it gives some amount of money for us. They give us the RAWE project at the time of the internship. At this time we have to visit many villages for the survey.

Placement Experience

5

In our campus 8th semester passed out students are eligible for campus placement. After passing the 8th semester various companies like Syngenta, Baayer, Agro Chemical, and various seed companies and agriculture-related visit the campus and select the students through the interview process. Semester marks are also very helpful for getting those jobs. But the package of those companies is not good enough. The maximum package is 3 lakhs. But it is very difficult to achieve. Mainly sales man post are provided by them. 40 percent of students can get a placement in those companies. However, I plan to do higher studies like a Master's and Ph.D. because it will help me get government jobs in the future.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Each semister cost is 30000. For the hostelers extra mess bill have to be paid. In our college students can apply for national scholarship. But there is not available any other scholarships for the students. After passing out the B.sc degree AFO, ADA, other banking sectors are available for the students. Some company and NGO jobs are available for the students.

Campus Life

4.5

An annual fest like sports, agriunifest occurs every year. KRISHI MELA is conducted every year. Here many kinds of agriproducts are displayed. There are lots of books are available in the library, like Principal of Plant Breeding by B.D. Singh, Fundamental of Agriculture by Arun Katyayan, Principal of Genetics by B.D.Singh and the research journals are also available in the library. In our faculty, there are both digital and traditional classrooms are available. Almost every classroom has a projector. Various kinds of sports like cricket, football, vollyball, basket Ball are played in the faculty. Social groups are like Red Ribbon Club and Drama Club is run by students.

Admission

I have applied through my higher secondary marks and I had come to know from press medium. Anyone can getting admission in this college very easily. There aren't any admission test. If you have 60 percent marks, you can apply for this college through website. First university releases student merit list on the basis of their marks in 12th exam (physics, chemistry, 1st language, 2nd language, biology). Apart form this reservation benifits are also there, which is very helpful for the students. There are total 250 seats under which, general -100, S.C- 50, S.T- 20, other -30. In our college there is no quota for EWS candidates. So my opinion that there must be 10 percent quota for EWS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was told that this college is good so I took admission but it was not quite my expectations The college is good but management methods They should learn and understand situation of the students and should not ask late fines from them or should provide some extra due dates to them but no one listens not even the principal is worst they just care about money other than that from where your getting money or your parents arranging money they totally don't care about that

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 7-semester students are Eligible for placement and for an internship after 4 semesters. As the package is not disclosed because it is a government college, but the decent package is offered by companies to students. Everyone can sit in placement but the company required more than 65+ percent overall, so you have to maintain it. My plans to do m.sc agriculture or to do good jobs.

I find a few good remarks about my college but It still manage to teach students and educate them. For negative remarks students are fined for absence or low percentage of attendance but not given a single prize for a fair percentage students which have attendance well over 80 percent if they hvae to be fair why don't they cut off the marks in the exam for low attendance or why don't give the students a prize or a statement of encouragemet for a regular student.to be fair it's corrupted.
