Review on VITAP University

The curriculum in VITAP is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in engineering, and technology. Through a combination of classroom lectures, laboratory work, projects, and internships, students gain both theoretical understanding and experience in their chosen fields.

In 2018, students done international internships at Europe, Colombo, Bahrain and USA. Career Development Centre providing international internships and placement offers. They placed 10 students every year in USA, UK, Ireland, Japan, China, Israel, Taiwan, UAE, Kenya, Germany, Nigeria and Italy.

Candidates are eligible for the placements at the end of the sixth semester.200 to 300 companies visited and total number of offers in 2023 are 1568 and 1026 are placed. The highest package in the year 2023 is 34 lacks per annum and average package is 7.19 lacs per annum and placement percentage is 92.53%.

The tution fee is INR 70000 per annum for students who got the admission through APEAPCET and for the students through VITEEE the fees is based on the scored marks in VITEEE.The admission is INR 10000 and additional INR 3000 ( caution deposit) and is refunded.

The infrastructure is very good. VITOPIA event happens once a year. Both technical and non-technical clubs are conducted frequently and this helps students showcase their talents. There are a lot of books in the library including magazines and the library is air-conditioned. Sports and extracurricular activities are happening. The campus life is very nice.

There are many categories in hostel facilities.Both Ac and non Ac rooms are available. 2,4,6,8,10,12,15 beded rooms are available. They provided cart and cupboard. A chair and small tube light for study purpose. The meal quality is good and four times they serve chicken (non veg) in week and paneer(veg).The hostel registration process is through online.

Candidates can get the admission through VITEEE and APEAPCET. The cut off rank for EAPCET entrance in general category is around 5000 for Computer Science and Engineering branch. The VITEEE 2024 application form, application fees, application dates and the entrance examination dates are available in VITEEE official website. The application fees has to be paid through online.There are reservation benefits too.There are two mid exams for every semester. Semester completes within five to six months approximately.
