The infrastructure of welingkar is quite exotic with AC installed in every classroom.
Faculties are quite experienced and skilled

Dislikes

It takes long time for students to get places in summer time
No leaves is provided and there is a long process to accept your leave
The crowd is extensive and competition is quite high

Course Curriculum Overview

As I was inclined towards technical side of management. I chose pgdm e business as my course. PGDM e business program focuses on teaching students real life technical skills from a management perspective that is applicable in corporate world.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Placement Experience

After 1st year gets completed that is after clearing 3 trimesters get over students becomes eligible for final placements. There are various reputated companies that visits the campus for on campus placements including Accenture , parle, DHL, hero motorcorps, Amazon , KPMG , Morgan Stanley etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure 14 lakh fees is for every program for 2 years. We need to pay the fees in 4 installments of 3.5 lakh which constitutes 7 lakhs per year. It's compulsory to pay fees on time through their targeted links provided to every student

Campus Life

There are various fests that is held annually. One of the sports event that happens intra college between various programmes is runbhoomi . It's quite happening and fun. another event that takes place in a larger scale is webiz fest which happens inter colleges including participants from other management colleges

Admission

For Admission clear cat or cmat cutoff through their official Welingkar website exams happen every three months and the level of exam is moderate to difficult they should consider nmat exam cutoff as well

Interview Experience

Yes there is a PIQ that we need to attempt after getting shortlisted. Once the PiQ is done we are supposed to fill a form that consists of various questions related to every course we aspire to enroll in. Then GD and PI is conducted in two phases based on CAT and CMAT score respectively. GD topics are more generic in nature and analysis based while PI revolves around the last work ex and projects that we had done .

First green B-School in India

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
