My Welingkar Experience

I am E biz student. My course includes all the aspects of Management including the online aspects like cloud computing, coding etc. The course has a comprehensive Background of such subjects. It also includes subjects like supply chain management, project management, etc, which helps to give a practical Background to the students.

Many companies come for internships like Legrand, Mckenzie, Morgan stanley, Intergold, Amazon, ICICI, Jioworld and offers stipend ranging from 60k- 5k and some internships are unpaid as well. Some internships also offer quite low stipend however, the experience of working with them matters more.

The placements are quite good considering the fees that they offer. They have average placement of 12 lakhs. The market is quite down which is affecting the placement but still they try their best to get every student placed.

The fee structure for students currently is Rs. 1400000 for 2 years and they increase it every year by 10%. The fees paying system is also quite flexible even if you apply through loan. They also have scholarship opportunities for MMS students and for employment opportunities, you can refer to the college website.

Well, there are a lot of competitions and activities going on in Wellingkar all the time. There are quizes, debates, cultural programs, sports events like Runbhoomi and Impact which include inter and intra college sports events. The infrastructure is nice considering it is situated in one of the prime locations of mumbai.

The admission process at welingkar was quite smooth. They had well organised procedure organised by the students. We had guidance at every step of the way. I got admission through CMAT. My score was 92 percentile. They also accept ATMA/ CAT/XAT scores. They have 2 phases of admission, that is, phase 1 and phase 2. Phase 1 applications are mostly for CAT applicants and phase 2 for other entrance exams. The only thing I didn't like was that they take a lot of time for the final lists to come.

Yes. Once you have applied for the college, you have to give an aptitude test which is quite interesting. Next, you have to visit the campus for the group discussion and the final interview after which you get the final shortlist.
