Course Curriculum Overview

In PMEC college all the teachers are highly qualified and are very supportive and cooperative. They will push you to strive for excellence and prepare for competitive exams such as gate and ies. Lab assistant are also very good especially their behaviour is very good

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides many internships opportunities to its students. Many companies like Bajaj and TATA provides internships to a large number of students based upon their qualification. Government organization also provides internships opportunities to PMEC college students such as DRDO RAW etc.

PMEC college provides decent salery package of ?350000. Mechanical branch face the maximum number of companies while Electrical branch face the minimum number of companies for placement. Companies such as bazaz, TATA and Accenture visit this college and are mass recruiters of this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of our college PMEC is ?35,000 per year as courses fees. Apart from that hostelers will have to give 17,000 as mess fees ?13,350 as accomodation fees. There are gyms, both Indoor and outdoor present in our colleges.

PMEC college is spread over an area of 185 acres so you will not get bored with short areas.PMEC college as a big playground along with cafeteria and both Indoor and outdoor gyms.It as an utility block where all the essential equipments are available including Amul parlour.

Hostel Facilities

PMEC COLLEGE as 3 boy hostels and 2 girl hostels.The college provides a separate hostels for 1st year students in order to prevent issue like ragging and all. The hostels facilities is very good even if it will not fullfill your demands upto a certain limit but you will have a great time here.

Hostel Fee: INR 30360 per year

Admission

I appeared my Joint Entrance Examination in which I scored 200000. After that I applied for technical institution at OJEE counselling because all the technical institution under government of Odisha can be taken admission under OJEE counselling. And after counseling was over I was called to the college and then finally I was admitted to PMEC college after depositing the hostel and college fees.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
