Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Honestly, I don't like to give any sugar-coated answer to this question. Any private university in India isn't well versed in providing such exposure to students in terms of course curriculum that it can prepare students for real-world scenarios. Although there are initiatives like opportunities for students to participate in anchoring, activities, and some small inter-course competitions held in TMU. But, it can be improved by taking it to the next level such as inter-college competition. Exams don't have much difficulty level, they are held with strict supervision and in all lawful ways. Practical life exposure should be provided to students more than theoretical teachings. Everyone can read theory, but it needs experience and a risk-taking spirit to go practical and start earning. example, tell students to make a share market portfolio and show them practically which factors to consider while investing money. Made them discuss in class. Tell them how to do side earnings, etc.

Internships Opportunities

3

Infosys, Deloitte, High Beam Global, Gget, Google, and Datopa and the average package provided is 3-4 LPA Internship provided by TMU gave no stipend but a small letter of experience and appreciation. University easily provide NOC to those who are willing to do internships or job. My role as a market research analyst was to find appropriate experts to prepare research reports and evaluate them, scheduling calls, primarily interviewing them, etc.

Placement Experience

2

TMIMT, TMU provides good and continuous campus placement opportunities for those who want to do it. Although maximum of them are related to Business-executive profiles which eventually means sales, there are options for HR, Research analyst, private bank offers, etc. I was placed as a Market Research Analyst in a company named HIght Beam Global existed in Gurugram. TMIMT'S highest CTC is 6 LPA mostly for sales companies. Mine was 3.5LPA when I was just placed. Well-reputed companies like Infosys, ICICI Bank, Google etc have also visited and selected candidates from tmu. Out, of 10 students who sits in intervie rounds, 4 students have highest chnaces of being selected. My plan was to get a job and then pursuing my Masters simultanelously.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a private university, fee ar high. But, for Jain students, the universit provides almost 50% concession in many courses, except MBBS and other medical and specialisation courses. This helps middle-class Jain students a lot to gain real-life insights into the world with an affordable amount of fees. Students come from all over India and stay in a hostel. which also provides good concessions for common rooms. Otherwise, for non-Jain students, the fees are quite high, as a Jain student it costs me almost rupee 70,000 including hostel fees ( 34000-hostel and 32000 tuition feel approx). but, for a non-Jain student, it costs 70000 plus bus fees average of 14000 and an additional 60000 if they avail hostel, yearly. The campus does provide employment opportunities to some of the students who eagerly want to do it. Many, students work in TMU today also. Otherwise, they just provide the unpaid internship opprtunity in admission block and in digital marketing also.

Campus Life

4

TMIMT College of TMU used to celebrate Freshers, farewell, Funday, Annual events, Paryushan Parv, some religious trips for Jain students and many more activities and functions throughout the year. Additionally, it is no less for celebrating many events at the University level by inviting many well-known personalities like Yogi Adityanath, UP's CM and Arjit Singh, a well-known singer. Many events are celebrated at each college level. It gives a well-versed experience to students for being social and a great opportunity for the development of their personality. As a hosteler, I still miss the campus. It has a mesmerising infrastructure and a kind of peace that calms the soul. TMU has TPL- Premium League at the university level, and many indoor sports games competitions, everyone is welcome to participate in the same. There are not socities of any students in TMU, but they actively have many social pages run by students like on Instagram and other platforms.

Hostel Facilities

4

TMU has hostel facilities separately for girls and boys. There are over 4 bocks in the boys' hostel with a residing capacity of 2500 students and 2 girls' hostels with over 2000 students who can reside at once. TMU has no compromise in terms of food quality, variety and menu. There is no fixed amount of food that you can have, different varieties of food 4 times a day for all 7 days. They will consider the complaints made by the students if any. They also provide well-maintained and clean garden areas for relaxation and peace. Also, payable gym facilities are provided for those who wants to avail it. The hostel is quite affordable with additional facilities like wifis, ethernet cables for the internet, proper lighting, study table, bed box and almirah in each room for every student, proper geyser facilities, lift facility etc. Additionally, they take care of every complaint and inconvenience done to any hostler and solve it within 24 hours of complaint.

Admission

The admission process is quite simple. The admission team and everything is really helpful in completing documentation and providing merit-based scholarships. There is much concession for Jain students in TMU in terms of fees. Almost 40-50% of scholarships is provided for Jain students. There isn't any requirement for competitive exams like JEE, CAT, NEET, etc to gain admission to TMU.

Other Applied Colleges

Amity University | Master of Business Administration [MBA]

I had to do job and this college is one of the most reputed one and provided with good online support for the people who wants to do correspondent courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more inclined towards a theoretical side and lacks practical exposure. In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.
