OIST college

My course is btech and branch is CSE core.I have choosen this course because I have studied python in 11-12th class and it has created Interest in coding besides this course have high income source also and could gain lot of knowledge and experience.Well the university is rgpv which have certain subjects only that much is taught by faculty.No real world applications taught by them.But after sometime there is training and placement department which have different classes in which they taught you for placement and prepare you for interview and real world.My suggestion is that there should be sports period and personality development session to improve students overall personality.Teachers should have more knowledge of their subjects and include real world example for a better understanding and should give practical knowledge rather than only theory. Well the exam depends on rgpv University sometimes it's hard and sometimes it's moderate or easy.

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. TCS have visited and offers 6-7 lakh package.highest package is 72 lpa of Amazon but it was off campus placement.Currently due to recession in IT not good placement are going very low percentage.My plan is to apply for off campus.

When I have taken addmission the fees was increased from 96k to 120k of cse branch.They increase their fees every year of new incoming batches.They have bus compulsory which also increases by them by their management every year.They have extra Library book bank fees 4k and 4k for college dress which could have also increased.The scholarship is only provided by MP government of ST/SC which depends on your college fees like for cse they get 126k per year and for OBC it's 29k.Campus placement is not that great and it's depends on students.

There is not good campus Life , No active clubs and infrastructure is also not good . Don't have good social life.They have tech fest every year which is good.Library don't have good books it's have so much old books .The facilities are poor and no technological provisions in the classrooms.They have sports and extracurricular activities but that great only happens occassionally.They don't have active clubs and groups.

The eligibility of the course was decided by jee mains percentile.By Madhya Pradesh counciling you can fill the form of you can contact college they will make your file takes 5 thousand advance which will be included in your fees afterwards after making file they fill your counciling form on their own.Jee main percentile decides which branch you can take . There is also benefits for reservation in which you can get higher branch in lower percentile of jee.You can also get in by college level counciling by your 12th percentage.You can also apply online on Oriental website.
