Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is set and aimed toward the media and journalism for the students career The course curriculum have major media and journalism-related subjects which covers majority of the syllabus given by the university for passing and knowledge of the students

Internships Opportunities

The college does provide internship but it is limited the number is not plenty as only few students gets the benefits from the internship

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement and job opportunities are moderate as not many companies come to hire as they only take students for internship The college tries to provide and bring many companies but the companies only comes to give intership to the students as it is convenient to them

College Events

4.5

The Bmm department helds two to three events per year as it develop the students talent and potential and also help college and students to get recognized and praisedOne is boonde which is a short film festival, second one is the aagman as it is for the fresher's and last one is carpe diem for other colleges to come and participate in college festival

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure could be expensive. And also the expenses for projects also are high. The students spend a lot of money on to their project as the projects are important to get marks and passing in internals the fees could range for bmm course from 15-18k

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The college does not have any hostel facilities as of my awareness

Alumni/Alumna

The student keep in touch with the ex students and that is enough as also some get togethers are also arranged for the students who passed out of the college

Exam Structure

The exam structure is According to the university Norma and rules. The semester pattern is used and consist of the 75:25 mark pattern. As 75 in return and 25 for projects The 75 marks covers the syllabus which studied in the college and teaches by the faculty

Admission

Through the board merit list you can get admission. Even through college own merit list you can get admissions After that the normal interview happens with the faculty of the department. The selected students then get admission into the college later than that the student need to submitt his/her marksheet and pay the fees accordingly

Faculty

3

The faculty is good they can be harsh and moody sometimes Although the bias decision and preference of a good student over the normal one is usual and could be seen also in the department or the faculty. Faculty is good in their own respective fields

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate course curriculum a 8 on 10.. it is because now I am in 3 year...And my course is bachelor's in Multimedia and Mass communication..In which we have specialisation in 3rd year... That means we need to choose between Journalism and Advertising in the last year...so in 1st and 2nd year we eventually come to know that what's our exact interest... people here is very helpful in terms of guidance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is industry integrated and mostly their is practical knowledge in this field bus this is also related to media and I was already interested in the same so choose this course. The curriculum does give you all the knowledge that you need and it does help you in shaping your future. Their are some area of improvement as they teach history of every thing personally I don't think learning the history of every thing is necessary and it can be skipped. Exam are conducted twice a year along with the assignment the exam are not that difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that influenced my decision to choose this course were hands-on practice, internships, and collaborations within the industry. The curriculum has prepared us well for real-life instances through assignments and other activities. One suggestion for improvement could be that the curriculum be more flexible in terms of online and offline learning both to cater to different students' schedules and internship interests. The difficulty level of our exams is fair and manageable making it good for all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a second year student in Bhavan's college in the BMM department. During my admissions after 12th , when i looked up for curriculum in Bhavan's a certain subjects like Mobile content creation and photography lured me as they are easily applicable in practical work plus they are in demand in todays media field. The current curriculum is 85% theoretical according to me as only one subject that is theatre studies is practical. Hence the application of current syllabus in real life is questionable. However , it can be useful if one opts for Post graduation. The area where the curriculum needs to improve is to add more practical knowledge and teaching methods should be more interactive. In context of frequency of exams, only 2 end sem exams plus internal exams for 2 credit subjects are conducted. The difficulty level can be rated as mediocre.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has changed a lot from last year due to the NEP guidelines. The new curriculum provides cross-faculty minor courses through which we learn about not only our course but a completely different one too. It is a very new model of timetable and we are the experiment batch. Some suggestions I would give are to provide minors which are related to our subject so that it would be useful to us in future also providing better options in choosing electives. One positive I found is the honours programming which gives us the option to directly take Phd once done with our bachelors. Also the free exit system is also helpful.

Placement Experience:

From the last semester, the students become eligible for campus placement. Students should make up more than 90% of the population. As soon as I get the degree, I intend to pursue a master's degree and further my studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was apt, however, I felt as if some of the subjects or rather the specific topics they delved into were somewhat out of touch for the early 2020s. However, most teachers provided us with question banks, PDF study material, and so on. Exams were timely (one unit test and end-of-term test per semester), and projects were also timely by nature (one individual project and one group project termed as SLE.)

Placement Experience:

Everyone who is studying at UPG is eligible for campus placements. They provide internship and job offers too. The highest package I think was 17 lakhs and the average is around 8 lakhs which is quite good for a fresher. However, many students don't sit for the placements as they go for higher studies.
