Journey of Kslu

I rate 4 out of 5 because kslu is excellent is academic and other curriculum activities as it conducts many activities to students as like youth fest, allocation programs and other cultural activities also in sports they conduct tournaments or class cup, which make every student to participate in sports like cricket kabbadi football volleyball etc. and also they conduct indoor games too. I chose this college because of my father's desire and the college has a good reputation in Karnataka. Kslu has to improve a lot in the infrastructure of the college and teaching methods to meet the standard of the other law colleges like NLU's and Symbios colleges and also the teaching was not upto the mark as compared to others and kslu is an autonomous college and they conduct examination as they want and these made they are back by 2months as compared to other colleges, kslu still doesn't have a good library as compared to other and they should develop these for the students as earlier

The fee structure of the kslu is low as compared to other law colleges in Karnataka, as it is government college so the fees vary from one student to another student as because of some reservations and caste based. The fee for general category is about 16000/- rupees and for sc and st students it was 3000/- rupees and for OBC students it from 6000/- rupees and it has separate fees for examination and Library use the examination fee was different by year to year and the library fee is same as 750/- rupees for a year and in case for late payment fine will added to the fee extra of 200/- rs. And for hostel the fee is about 18000/- rs and no food provided in hostel. As seniors of our college runs a student union mess for purpose of food it will of 25000/- rs a annum. As we can apply SSP scholarship and NSP scholarship but both are not dependendable sometime they may come sometimes they may not so it's not a thing and still me or my friends didn't get any campus employement in this kslu.

The infrastructure of kslu is not upto the mark as compared to other colleges and I was happy here because they conduct some of the youth fest and other business pitch competition and moot court competition which help for our future and also it conducts many cultural fest which we can enjoy alot during those events in kslu. And coming to the sports it was well and good because their is inter class cricket league and some other cricket tournament as well as the football tournament and it encourages the indoor games like chess table tennis and carrom. The technical facility was not upto mark in kslu as classes of kslu contain only black boards and no projectors for classes and no professor or lecturer teach in projectors they only teach by reading books and it has well developed auditorium and in this colleges their student union hostel mess and hostel maintenance committee which help for only hostel students and their is AVBP social group run by the students in kslu and it is big group.

Initially we have apply for hostel by filling hostel application it will be given based on pu percentage that student have scored and also reservation included. The hostel fee in kslu is about 18,000/- rs. Per year without any food, it only for shelter and there is three sharing rooms the rooms are well developed and it consists of 3 cots and 3 study tables and one fan with attached bathroom, the mess committe is responsible for the meal for hostel students the quality of the food is better as compared to other hostels and quantity is unlimited we can eat how much we want and there is lot of problems in rooms which they not repair earlier as possible the hostel maintenance committee take long time to complete all the issues faced by students till now they didn't provide cupboards for students and mainly they won't take much care about the students and the locality of kslu boys is hostel is near RTO office, navanagar hubli Dharwad district 580025.

The admission process in this kslu college is very strict as compared to other colleges, the kslu initially conducts a entrance examination, before that we have to apply application form to the college which worth of 500/- and later the entrance examination was conducted that question paper contains lots of syllabus like daily updates, English grammar, legal reasoning and mental ability. It feel little hard not much as other, the eligibility for this course is we have to complete the 12 th class or any equivalent to 12th and minimum they should score 45 percent in the 12th. Then they are eligible for this entrance examination and they have to top in the entrance examination for getting seat in the college, every year the cutoff for this college is top 60 students in entrance examination based on reservation but this year they have provided few more seats to the students due to lot of demand. The timing of entrance examination is for 3hours for 200 marks.
