Likes

Flexible credit system the Customization they provide is soo comfortable
The campus life. Freedom given to students lower rules and regulations
Infrastructure they are developing at a very fast rate like since i have joined they have built atleast 3 new buildings

Dislikes

Transportation since this university is located in amaravathi which is near Vijayawada but not in Vijayawada it would consume more time for journey
Air-conditioning since this college is located in andhra pradesh the climate is soo hot here but there are no sufficient air conditioners for the students
The circulum since they conduct 2 mids and one sem which is quite hectic like you dint get enough time to learn you interests

Course Curriculum Overview

I think their academics are pretty good and on point. The faculty at vit ap is trained and experienced also the fcs flexible credit system in vitap helps a lot you can choose what ever course you want and also which faculty you want this level Customization is appreciated

I am a 2nd year student so I don't have a kneen knowledge about the internships they provide but I often receive mails from the admistration regarding the opportunities of internships from very different companies

Placement Experience

Our college itself provides placements. The avg package at our college is around 8lpa and highest standing at around 40lpa. Even though the market is undergoing recession they performed very well in placements. They provide all the training for the placements also

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at vit is based on your rank ranging from 2 lakhs to 6, 7 lakhs also additional fee like hostel and mess which also range from 1 lakh to 3,4 lakhs depending on your needs. If you want your desired branch of course and your rank is low than eligible then you need to pay higher fee

Campus Life

Vit ap has a very good infrastructure and campus life, pretty big compared to colleges located in our state the campus life is also excellent like they give freedom and less rules and regulations than eamcet based colleges

Admission

Admission to vit ap is done through an exam viteee after writing the exam you will be eligible to apply any of their branches vellore, Chennai, bhopal, ap. Based on your rank in the exam you will get the seat. There are also different fee, if you want seat in your desired course and branch you need a good rank but in case of vit ap you will be able to get cse at an average rank in order to get into vellore you Beed to perform very well all this process Is carried out online there are no offline centers for this.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam.
