Remarks

So overall I give 7/10 to our college. Coming to faculties and academic part our college is one of the best colleges of Bhubaneswar. But in infrastructure placement, our college has to make more development. If our placement will become strong then our college will become the top most college of bhubaneswar.i m not satisfied with our management because they are not always helpful. Their reflexes towards students are very much low.

Entrance Preview

I have given JEE MAINS entrance and my score is 43. And I have chosen this college because the faculties of this college are very student oriented and the education system and disciplinary system of the college is too good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Talking about course then b.tech is one of the highest educational qualifications in India. And in my college also all are focusing on the course to teach us something like we can learn something from this.i have chosen computer science and engineering branch because I am very much passionate about computers in my college the facilities for a computer science student is average not so much not less.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college is not providing any type of internship because our campus is not having sufficient space but as the changes in syllabus, I m thinking that very soon internship will also be provided by the college. But our teachers are referring us for internship into different organization

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is also average. This year only 3 company has come for computer science branch and none of them was our core one for civil there was only one company and for rest branches, 2-3 companies have arrived for campus drive. I m not satisfied with placement and job opportunities of our college. the placement cell of our college can give more concern to this but they are not.

College Events

About events cultural fest annual function then our college is good in this area. Every year we have our annual function named as 'the exotica'. Many events were organized during those days. Except for our annual function we also have freshers party and farewells also we observed different national days like children day teachers day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Coming to fee structure as per our college facilities it is somehow little expensive. For SC/ST student it is totally different because the government is giving a scholarship to them by which they can complete their study in free of cost.our college total course fees is 74500 and hostel fees is 48000 + 12000 transportation

Fees and Financial Aid

No college is not giving any type of scholarship Odisha government is giving scholarship for SC ST obc student named as prerana. By which the student is getting 71000 rs.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, about our seniors they are very much helpful they will always be ready to help us. Whenever I have some doing regarding any matter I consult my senior and very easily I found my way.

Exam Structure

Exam structure of our college is very tight the teachers are very much strict regarding our exam.no one will give you any type of relaxation during exam hours you have to give your exam by your own ability and labor. The exam was always on time.the branch teacher was assigned to different branch during the exams.

Admission

To got admission in this college the criteria is that you have to secure more than 45% in your intermediate stage or you have to secure more than 45% marks in math physics and English. The process for admission is normal as all engineering college you have to have a counseling in which you have to mention that your desire college after that according to the vacancy you will got your seat.

The best part of my college is our faculties. Coming to faculties they all are well-qualified student-oriented very much helping in nature. Each faculty of our college always pay attention to every student by which a student can easily catch up things and do better. Most of our faculties took pre-assessment of all students. The way of teaching of our all faculties was too much unique and extravagant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.
