Dislikes

The college is far from the town. Facing difficulty in transportation.
High intake of students so the placement opportunities may decrease
College is still under construction of new buildings, causing problems for hostlers

Course Curriculum Overview

Since my childhood I am high intrested in programming.so i found vit as a great opportunity where I can improve my skills.Most of the faculty are phd holders.Every student is alloted by a mentor.Exams are not much difficult,we can easily pass

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Because of recession, the placement percentage has decreased this year. But,The last year the placements were good. May be next year the percentage will increase. Companies like Microsoft,Wipro, Google,TCS..etc Highest package is about 63lpa. I decided to go for higher studies in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined through eamcet.the fee is decided by the government as 70000.Government will pay the fee through JVD scheme.College doesn't provide any financial assistance.As a eamcet student it is not so expensive for me to study in this college

Campus Life

The University's Infrastructure is good. There are many clubs to develop the personality of the students. Mainly there are two events Named VITOPIA and VTAPP.Vtopia is a cultural fest and Vtapp is a technical fest.Every year sports competition will be conducted in the college.The classrooms are very pleasant and clean. The library consists of various books related to courses and journals.

Admission

I joined VIT through EAPCET, I got a rank of 7453. Students can join vit through VITEEE exam too. Everyone can get application form from official website.I am general I didn't got any scholarship. Admission procees so simple for EAPCET students. For VITEEE students is online every thing.

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam. The eligibility to join is based on the rank released after the appearance of examination.
