Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course for the betterment of my career after my graduation. More than 70% of the faculty are Ph.D. holders with Industry experience and experts in various electives. The VIMS faculty uses experiential learning and teaching methodology i.e. live case studies, role plays, simulation activities, mini projects, management games, etc... Students are assessed using Outcome Based Methodology like Presentations, MCQs, and Written Exams with Quality Assessments.
Internships Opportunities
During my Summer Internship, I interned at AQUA Groups in Coimbatore the largest Pump Manufacturing company. The summer Internship report preparation and Video Documentary experience gave me more experience. During my project period, I got placed in Karvy Stock Broking with a stipend of Rs.20000/- per month in 2018.
Placement Experience
I got placed through campus placements, placement cell works actively for the betterment of the students. During the third semester itself, college provides placements with an average salary of Rs.4.5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I received a Merit Scholarship for my MBA at VIMS. I received assistance from the college to get an education loan. I got placed in Karvy Stock Broking during my project period with a stipend Rs.20,000/-. Now I am Currently working at HSBC Data Processing Pvt. Ltd., as an Assistant Manager. I attended many training activities conducted by Placement Cell during my study which helped me in getting a good job opportunity.
Campus Life
It is an Eco-friendly campus, with well-equipped Labs and a library, Classrooms with Air-conditioned facilities, and provides free Wifi campus facility for students. We have a students' association "Cambista" under which we conducted so many management games and activities
Admission
Eligibility for the course is 50% in UG The application form is available on the website www.vimscbe.ac.in I had an entrance exam and a personal interview at VIMS. I feel the Admission process is quite good.
Interview Experience
I attended written test and interview during my admission process. I prepared Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English comprehensive using Quantitative aptitude books. I was happy attending the process at VIMS.
