Likes

I liked the freedom in this university. We are free to roam in the campus any time. The campus is also big and good for enjoying. The infrastructure is really nice and the maintenance of the the campus.
The Library is really good. We can get most of the books available there.
The time table is very flexible and we can select the faculty.

Dislikes

I didn't like the classrooms. There are not so good.
The chairs are not really comfortable. They are big minus
Lift facility is not so good. It holds less students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course( computer science) because I was very much interested in coding and stuff. The faculty to student ratio is decent. There are enough faculty. The qualification of the faculty is very good all of them have completed their PhD and have published reasearch papers as well. The term exams are conducted in way that we have a mid exam after month and a semester exam at the end of the sem. The correction depends on the faculty and its not very easy to pass.

Placement Experience

The placements are going good. Many companies are hiring well enough number of students. 3 year second semester is the time when we are eligible for campus placements and the percentage of students getting placed is not revealed

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on the entrance exam you have given. If eamcet is the mode of your admission then fee is 70000 and there is a scholarship given by ap government for ration card holders. If it's vitee exam the fee varies form 200000 to 350000

Campus Life

There is a fest called vitopia conducted every year in a grand setup. There is also a technical fest called vtap. There are many clubs which are quite active conducting events evey week and during special occasions. Sports facilities are great. Vtop is website for students faculty where you see any information.

Admission

The admission process is in two ways. One is through the viteee exam conducted by the university. The other is eamcet which is a state level exam of Andhra Pradesh. Viteee cutoffs vary every year and the fees depends on the rank we got. Eamcet is another option where you can secure the seat in this university with low fee. You have to get a min rank of 4000 or below and you have any reservation it helps you get the seat easier.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam.
