Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BBA because of the skills it teaches and its implications in the next decade or so. There are about 60 students in one class so 60 is to 1 student to faculty ratio. The faculty is decent they are not experts in their field however they have a bit of experience and are decent lecturers however the framework of the institution is such that the teachers are not able to or cannot help the students as much as they would like to.
Internships Opportunities
Not all departments have internship opportunities from the college side. My department does not give any internship opportunities. I have an internship which I am pursuing from outside on my own and the college staff is not supportive and discourages it.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are eligible for final year students and depending on the department various companies visit the college. The highest package offered to specific courses can go up to 10,00,00 per annum and the average is around 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum for most of the courses. Not all students get placed and a large number of the placements are bad, in essence the package is minimal around 1.2 lakhs per annum to 1.8,00,00 per annum and the company is also not good. Overall the placements are pretty decent.
Fees and Financial Aid
This college is relatively way more affordable than other alternatives available. The college does provide scholarships for students who need it it also provides on campus placements which are decent.
Campus Life
The campus is huge and there are over 40 departments which brings about a lot of variety in the college and a lot of places and people to meet and explore. The classrooms or not the neatest or the most well maintained. Certain buildings have classrooms where the benches are very old and very uncomfortable to sit on and it has not been replaced in spite of numerous students complaining multiple times. There are multiple libraries across the college and the books and journals available or quite app for the courses anything which is not academically relevant is highly unlikely to be available in the college library. The college has a wonderful sports wing and sports infrastructure. The college also has multiple social groups clubs and student bodies where students from different departments can come and organise events and network and make friends.
Admission
The admission process had an entrance exam followed by a personal interview. The entrance exam was pretty simple and an aptitude exam. The personal interview was conducted by a lecturer from the same department I applied for and the interview was pretty straightforward and simple it was not a difficult one to crack.
Interview Experience
The world is an entrance test followed by an interview. The interview was not challenging and was taken by a lecturer from the department I applied for. The interview did not require any specific prior preparation as such. The questions were pretty general and the whole interview seemed conversational rather than interrogational.
