Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is quite good. I choose this course because I love electronics. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40. Qualification of all faculties are PHD holders. Exams happens in time and is very hard to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Many companies provide internship opportunities in 6th semester. Local startups like spikewell and nirmalya gives internships to many students with a average stipend of Rs.12000. Mainly students focus on web development projects.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is decent in the college. From 7th semester we are eligible for placement. Infosys, Wipro, and many other companies visit every. The highest package was 7lpa and the average package is 4.5lpa. Almost 80% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is Rs.135000 annually including everything. There is no hike in fees for 4yrs. There is no scholarship available by Silicon whereas there are many scholarship provided by governent of odisha.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is good but boring. Zygon is the major fest of Silicon which happens in November of every year. The library has almost all books available that is needed in 4 yrs. Classroom has all basic amenities. All types of clubs and sports available in the campus.

Admission

Admission process was simple. Jee Main entrance is mandatory for admission. 45% in 12th is minimum eligibility for admission. The application form can be find in Silicon official website (www.silicon.ac.in).
