Course Curriculum Overview
Opted for B.Tech CSE due to a passion for coding and aspiring to be a software engineer. However, faculty at my college is average, occasionally lacking in-depth explanation. The faculty:student ratio is decent. Many teachers just cover topics, making it challenging to grasp. Timely term exams, but passing can be difficult without a comprehensive understanding. Despite these challenges, my enthusiasm for coding drives my commitment to the course. factualty : student ratio , total 180 students 6-7 teachers in cse department 3rd year
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is substantial, and I availed a 25% scholarship in the first year. Unfortunately, I didn't secure any campus job or internship. While the scholarship was beneficial, the initial year's fees, despite the reduction, remained comparable to subsequent years. The college's fee hike policy wasn't explicitly outlined, but understanding the overall cost and exploring more financial aid options could provide a clearer perspective.
Campus Life
Events at my college include a fresher party, "Toonav" for stool-making competitions, and sports. We have a dandiya program and a recent event where students created stools with games and food. The social life is average; however, there's room for improvement. The college lacks prominent annual fests, and the infrastructure is satisfactory. Classroom amenities are standard, and the library provides access to books and journals. Sports and extracurricular activities are available. Actually i am not able to have participation in most of these events Because of my injury in my lower back.
Admission
Admission at GLA University for B.Tech was a balanced process with medium-difficulty questions. I secured a 75% score and met cutoffs. The application was straightforward. GL Bajaj's admission exam, with moderate questions, led to my successful selection. Suggestion: Integrate more practical questions for a holistic evaluation of applicants' skills. Overall, a positive experience, with room for minor enhancements.
