Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it is my passion. The Faculty are top notch and the ratio is around 60:1. The Faculty are extremely qualified and well-mannered. Exams are conducted every 1 and half month and can be passed with decent amount of preparation.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like octanet services have offered internships with stipend. it gives students experience in the corporate world and the role they have to play. projects based on web dev and ai are the highlights

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. companies like cognizant,PayPal and more have visited our college. almost all students are getting placed. I wish to join a big MNC after my engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee Structure for CSE Branch per year is 70,000 INR. The Fee might vary if you enter through VITEEE. Minorities can get Fee reimbursement if they join through EAMCET and have the required documents.

Campus Life

Two annual Fests are conducted every year namely VITOPIA and VTAPP. There are a ton of books in the library. The classrooms are neat. Many sporting events are conducted regularly. NGC is a club that is run by students.

Hostel Facilities

Two Fans, a Bed, a Table and a chair are provided for each student. The Mess quality is good and same for the food. The registration process for the hostel will be informed at the time of admission. No PG is required.

Admission

I applied to Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh through an Exam known as AP EAMCET. A Rank below 10K is required to get a seat in CSE Branch. You can also apply through an exam known as VITEEE. You can find the details about it on the official website. I availed reservation through OBC category.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam. The eligibility to join is based on the rank released after the appearance of examination.
