Speaking of Course curriculum, the quality is pretty good, neither outdated nor updated. Faculty-student ration falls around 1:17. The Quality of a few faculties is exceptionally great. Their review method is so systematic, leaving no room for personal bias. But unfortunately, this doesn't apply to all. A trimester system is followed, so within 3 months, on average 7 subjects, spanning 30 hours lecture for each subjects where 75% attendance mandatory to appear for exams, 1 Cycle test(25M), 50 marks for internal assessment(including Cycle test),50 for End sem exam. Exam are mainly application oriented requires thorough understanding of concepts, however grading is relative. On scale of 5, 3 is the difficulty level. Varies according to faculty and concepts

Dedicated Placement cell is works for the entire college with the representative from every departments. Placement process starts from 1st year last semester by CPC exam which contains questions from the topics taught in class and general awareness, every student is mandatorily need to clear that for applying to companies. After clearing 2000rs should be paid to Placement cell, as the companies visit the campus, it will be listed by the respective placement representative to the batch and interested students can apply. Around 25 companies have visited the campus so far, namely, Adani, Volvo, Accenture and around 35% batch is placed. Highest is around 14LPA and average falls around 9LPA. Profiles are mainly sales & marketing and Ops.

fee structure is split into 4 terms, have to pay both tuition and hostel fee. Entire fee structure can found in NITT official website. Regarding scholarship, One person is allowed to apply only one scholarship during their course ,that can be renewed every year. Applying multiple scholarship is not permitted as per institute norms.

Pragyan, NITTFEST, Festember, Sportfete, Nisadya, Inacon, and Prabhandhan these are few fest, but something always keeps on happening in campus, be it workshops or seminars or Guest lectures from top corporate firms. The library has most of the books from all sections and journals. For PG students the lending period is 30 days within the period books can be returned/ reissued. After the permitted period 1rs fine for each book per day.Air-conditioned classroom with projector and speaker support. Committees and clubs are the student-run activities on campus. There are only departments and inter-department depending upon the nature of the clubs. Choose your area of interest and pick clubs that align with it. It is not easy to be a member of these clubs and committees. They have several rounds of induction process

Hostel facilities are provided based on the availability. For the 1st year mostly of sharing basis , it can be either 3 or 4 sharing and for 2nd year single sharing. Washing machine, geyser,wifi and water purifier are availble.There is separate mess for boys and girls. Where boys has a variety of option to choose their regional cuisine like, South,North, Kerala, Andhra but for girls it is limited to North and South. The food quality is just average . Mess needs to registered at end of every month

The admission process went really smooth. I cleared CAT 2021. Based on my research, ,previous year cut-off for the DoMS,NIT Trichy, was 60 and there was no sectional cut-off requirement. I applied through the official website of NIT Trichy as DoMS, but NIT T doesn't have a dedicated website. Typically, applications open from the last week of January. The application fee at that time was approximately 1550, however, please verify the current fee status . Subsequent notifications are expected to be released in mid-February, with interviews scheduled for March. Throughout the entire process, the Admission committee will provide guidance. Additionally, a mock interview simulation will be conducted to enhance the confidence in the actual interview.

GD was not the part of evaluation component for admission. During interviews , questions are asked about prior experience for people with work experience and about subjects in UG to freshers. Clarity in thought, communication, general awareness and presence of mind is primarily tested. My preparation was primarily done through youtube and interview materials available online
