Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very dynamic and hectic. Moreover, evaluation criteria is very tough. Yes exams are very frequent with cycle test in between every trimester. There are total 6 trimester exams in the MBA. Course structure is highly relevant with respect to the industry standards.

Placement Experience

Yes, college provides both job and placement opportunities. Placements are very decent with good package. Internship opportunities are also very good. Students have to be competitive and knowledgeable with clear concepts to get good placements.

College Events

We have three college fests and one departmental fest. College fests are Pragyan, nittfest, festember. Department fest is Nisadya These fests are national level fests with people participating from all over India.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good and modern. They are equipped with wifi, geysers, water purifier. We have many hostels and all are in nice condition with regular maintenance and they are very hygienic with regular cleanliness. Food which is provided in mess is of good quality.

Admission

First student are called in the basis of their CAT score. Then further processes are GD and PI. on the basis of score in GD and PI students are given admission offers. They also release few waiting list after the first list.

Faculties are highly qualified with phd in their respective discipline. They are updated with the happening in their field. Teachers explain the concepts in simple way and they are very cooperative. The teaching approach is highly holistic.

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

From 3 sem college makes preparation for placement and by 4 they focus to place students TCS , Cognizant,Icici etc I'm planning to get settled in a well known company vth good package of salary in my future

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO

2 years of MBA journey at DOMS,NITT

To get into the NIT the application fee cost around 2krs and the dates are usually form Jan last week to mid of feb. the reservation benefits are issued as per the govt of India as it is a govt subsidised college. The frequency of semester exams are thrice in a year, they follow a trimester pattern throughout the course and it is kind of difficult. New courses can be added and curriculum can be updated for meeting the industry needs like AI used in industries automation, marketing, finance etc....Read More

Accurate and Crisp

Through CAT we can get admission and the eligibility for the course is bachelor's degree and the application form will be available in the NIT, Trichy MBA Portal. Application fees were Rs 1000 and generally start from the last week of January till last week of february.Then the PI round generally happens in the month of March and April. All about MBA@NIT Trichy

The admission process went really smooth. I cleared CAT 2021. Based on my research, ,previous year cut-off for the DoMS,NIT Trichy, was 60 and there was no sectional cut-off requirement. I applied through the official website of NIT Trichy as DoMS, but NIT T doesn't have a dedicated website. Typically, applications open from the last week of January. The application fee at that time was approximately 1550, however, please verify the current fee status . Subsequent notifications are expected to be released in mid-February, with interviews scheduled for March. Throughout the entire process, the Admission committee will provide guidance.
