Course Curriculum Overview

3

I applied to Pataliputra University because it was suitable for me and this was the same college from where I passed my 12th. So I don't have any issues continuing with this college but I also tried in Patna University but because of some reason I couldn't be admitted there. The strength of the college was damn good and in my political science department, there were almost 1650 students. And the teaching methods of teachers are quite good but sometimes they get rude, They don't listen to what I am trying to say and that's a bad thing about which I don't like. The examination was taken regularly and we have given our 1-semester examination and taken admission in 2 semesters but unfortunately, results were not announced. But I must say the examination was taken strictly in my college.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

Many companies come and offer internships to particular course students. Not all students get internships and placement in the college. Mostly students who belong to the the MBA and MCA get internships and projects offered by companies.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement depends on the course like a MBA students get placement and a MA students don't get placement easily. Students who gets placement are mostly in there last semester and there average salary was 2lack and highest depends on the company where they get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is quite good, mainly it's depends on the course. According to my course these is quite expensive I mean my college take extra charges from students which is not required. Scholarship was not provided my college but the government but yes department helps those students who are not good financially. My senior gets placement in tcs last year.So that's why I can say that there was placement in these college.

Campus Life

2.5

In my college, there were many functions organized by seniors like the Savan festival, freshers, etc. Also, other organizations come and hold seminars in college from time to time. There was also a Library in my college but the library which was provided to graduate students was very small and the availability of books was not very good. I mean there was no new edition and also not able to take books when I wanted I had to wait for my willing book. Extracurricular was also done in the college. Anyone can join the sports department. Games were also played with other colleges. There were also organizations which were run by students.

Hostel Facilities

2

I'm not a hostel girl I mean I don't live in the hostel but my friend does. According to her the room, there was medium size and the quality of the meal was good. Sometimes it is expensive according to the room and facility provided by the college.

Admission

The admission process was an entirely online process. Firstly I had to apply to a common form of Pataliputra University and then I got selected for JD Women's College. And then I went to the college and verified my documents and after that, I went to the cyber cafe to take admission because the admission process was online. After that, I received the admission payment slip and then again I went to college for the submission of documents. The process was easy because it was online and the college staff was also cooperative.

Let's explain this in chronological order first any person need to complete the degree with at least 50% above then only they will be able to sit in the placement. Placement rates are high if you have in-depth knowledge about what you have studied (let's say 70%) Most of the time the companies visited is Amazon and Tech Mahindra. Highest package is 6.5 lakh, lowest is 3.95 lakh. Now after getting the degree my goals are to adapt higher studies like MA and take a job in part time.
