Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University is best college in gorakhpur as well as considered as top 10 University in Uttar Pradesh
Faculty of my course is awesome always helpful
Infrastructure is also one of the best thing in this college

Dislikes

Placement is little bit is not in good hand through college
Also now the fee structure of all courses is also increased for new addmission
Food of canteen are not good for health and hygiene

Course Curriculum Overview

• I am interested in coding and programming that's why I chose BCA • it likes 1:9 • they came from good place in studies • it's around 6-7 months takes to conduct a semester exam which easy to moderate level of exam

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 33577 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

• when I was taking addmission to my college the fee structure is around 15 to 18 thousand semester fee includes registration now from 2023 the fee hike is like 25 to 28 • I got scholarship of Uttar Pradesh government

Campus Life

• there are lots of festival conducted annually and sometimes in months also like youth fest etc. • all books related to your course available in the library • classroom are digital as well as manual type of study also. • many games like football, cricket, volleyball, table tenis etc.

Admission

• After (10+2) • Application form will come online , which is cost of 800 rupees and around in March to April • actually I don't know about reservation benefits because I came from general category • sometimes it takes long process in addmission which goes around September, October final process

From fourth semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many company visits my collage to offer placements like TCS, HCL , Byjus , Microsoft , Rupteek etc and they offer many to the students. The highest package is 45 LPA and the average package is 3.5 LPA approx 90 percent students gets placements. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course of Bachelor of Computer Application because it has a good scope in the technical field of computers in which you learn the basics of junior software developer engineering to increase your knowledge and skills towards the corporate sector of IT. The faculty members teaching in this college are very good. They are all almost Ph.D. holders and they have all worked for at least 3 years in the corporate sector, so they also have experience and they give us practical knowledge. The exams for this college take place every semester, which means once every 6 months, which is not very difficult to get past because it has five subjects and each subject has four units every year.

Remarks:

Located at very busy area of city so it have a good and bad aspect too. Problem of traffic jam common here but it is reachable from any part of the city so it is a good point of its location too.

Some of the faculties were not good but the positive point is that you can complain in the administration and the faculty will be replaced if found unworthy. Sports and other extra curricular activities are good though.
