Course Curriculum Overview
The B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) program at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science, Kadapa offers a comprehensive curriculum with a focus on practical applications. Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The faculty:student ratio is favorable, enhancing personalized attention. Most instructors hold relevant postgraduate degrees, ensuring quality education. Teaching methods involve a blend of lectures and hands-on projects, promoting holistic learning. Term exams are conducted punctually, but some find them challenging. On the positive side, the college boasts excellent infrastructure and a vibrant campus life. However, administrative processes can be improved for smoother student experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees at AITS Kadapa for B.Tech (CSE) are reasonable, considering the facilities. The college offers scholarships based on merit and financial need, like the Merit Cum Means Scholarship. Financial assistance includes bank loans and government schemes. On-campus jobs are limited, mainly in the IT department, offering valuable experience but not substantial income. The fees hike policy lacks transparency, with sudden increases causing financial strain. Good faculty and infrastructure, but labs need improvement. Overall, AITS Kadapa is a decent choice, but financial aspects need attention
Campus Life
Life at AITS pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science, is vibrant! Social life is active with various clubs like Coding Club and Robotics Society. The campus hosts the annual cultural fest "Aurora" in February and the tech fest "TechnoBlitz" in October. The library is well-stocked with books and journals. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged, fostering a holistic environment. The student-run website, "AITS Connect," enhances communication. However, the college lacks a dedicated entrepreneurship club. Overall, AITS provides a dynamic academic and social experience.
Admission
Firstfall I Cracked the AP EAPCET with a decent score and landed here. Admission was smooth – online application, entrance exam scores, document verification, done! Cut-off for CSE was around 75%ile, but it varies every year. Check the AITS website for latest info. Eligibility? 10+2 with PCM and decent Math marks. Application form? Also online, fees were reasonable. Reservation benefits available as per government norms. Infrastructure can be improved – some buildings need a facelift. And while the library has a vast collection, the digital resources could be better.
