AITS Kadapa emphasizes strong placement support and effective communication between faculty and students. Starting from the second semester of the third year, students are eligible for campus placements, with companies like Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, Hexaware, Wipro, Tata, Infosys, Dell, Hero, and Mahindra actively recruiting. The highest placement package recorded is Rs 12,00,000, while the average is Rs 6,00,000. Over 800 students have been successfully placed with more opportunities ongoing. Paid internships, primarily in software and frontend development, are offered during the third year with favorable stipends.
Innovative projects are encouraged, and partnerships with companies ensure future hiring. As of 2020, the college fee was Rs 68,700, now increased to Rs 72,000, raising concerns about transparency in the fee hike policy. For B.Tech (CSE), the course fee is Rs 52,000, considered reasonable given the facilities like a well-equipped library. Scholarships are available through the Government of India and state government for EAMCET qualifiers, with additional options like the Merit Cum Means Scholarship and financial assistance through bank loans and government schemes.
Despite these financial aids, the lack of transparency in fee hikes causes financial strain. On-campus jobs provide experience, mainly in the IT department, but offer limited income. While the college has good faculty and infrastructure, improvements are needed in lab facilities. Overall, AITS Kadapa is a decent choice, but financial aspects and transparency need attention.
