Hardly any International Exposure. No MoU's with foreign universities. No International Language is taught. No students travel on any exchange programs.

To take admission at KK wagh college of food and technology the entrance exam os CET taken by DTE Maharashtra. No interview taken.

Course Curriculum Overview

In food technology the practicals are more important so our college concentrates on practical learning also. No research initiatives are taken. Course that I have taken is good.

Internships Opportunities

Internship for all toppers are provided by menas of college. Other student get by their own struggles. They stipend for the internship about 4-5 k per month.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is much more good in this college. Many companies comes every year to visit the campus.BOSCH, Infosys, Mahindra are a few companies. Average package is about 5 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees is most reasonable in the town. Various scholrships are available to students. Meritorious students from each branch receive cash prizes as well. Student fee waiver schemes are also available.Fees is Rs 88000 per year for open.

Daily regular classs had been conducted from early morning. Good experienced staff is present for teaching. overall very good college with teachers. They are so interactive with good standard of teaching.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

Because of Reputed college, having a good campus, providing facilities, experienced staffs. It has the perfect infrastructure for studying. Outstanding college.
