Remarks

There is nothing that can be said bad about the college . It is a private college with less fees and without donation . Want to enjoy an awesome college life join VSICS.

Entrance Preview

There is no entrance exam to get into this college . Student just has to take a form from admission office and resubmit the copy of 12th marksheet .And then a merit is being declared . 90% cutoff is the 1st list , 2nd list cutoff is 80%.

Course Curriculum Overview

Practical learning is there in the college . Research intiatives are taken up by the college. The course selected by me is useful for me as I want to get into a business so after doing BBA I will pursue with MBA .

Internships Opportunities

Yes , college provide summer internships to the student . But if student has to go for winter internship it is not officially provided by the college .

Placement Experience

Companies like TCS , Wipro come for open campus placements in the college . 85% students got placed in the college placements whreas rest others got placed through open campus . Average package for the college is 3.5 lakh per annum .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is affordable . 16,000 Rs is the yearly fees of 1 year . Course is for 2 years that means approximately 32,000 Rs is the fees for BBA .

Overall experience at Galgotias University

Likes

The campus life in Galgotias is appreciable with a lot of clubs, different events happening daily and the overall student culture.
There are dedicated labs for every department whether management or technical.
Practical learning and active classrooms make students ready for real world jobs.

Dislikes

Sometimes the timetable is not very likeable because of huge gaps between classes.
Different weak offs are not nice, i.e., the university is open all 7 days and there are classes on Saturday and Sunday as well.

Placement Experience:

Galgotias University has high placement rates with the placement rates for this year being 5500+ offered jobs. The highest package was 60LPA and average was 6LPA. There are a vast varities of companies which offer placement from technical background till management background.

I think they need some extra awarness in student for job and placement

The placement of my college are decent with many opportunities. Many big companies came to our campus like Decathlon, times now Placements packages of these companies were almost 4-5 lac. It mainly focuses on making students industry ready Also our colleges have a seprate Placement cell which handles all these placements In case of limited collage placement the collage still supports students by improving their employability thorough workshops internships and guidance

Likes

The facility are highly experienced and cooperative.
Regular organising of master classes, workshops, activities, etc.
Campus is well equipped with facilities like computer labs, seminar hall, etc.

No night life , focus is more on attendance and punctuality

The college has a dedicated training and placement office which provides excellent internships as well as placement opportunities. Various companies visits our campus like Amazon, Wipro, Times, etc generally around 85% of the students who opt for got placed. The average package varies from 5 to 6 lakhs. I have done various certification courses like life skills and personality development. The placement cell of my college is very active. Pooja Ma'am also takes regular workshops on Cv building. Our seniors were well placed by my college, and also praise the placement team of our college that helped them to reach their career goals and destinations. Pooja Ma'am personally guided me to build my CV atleast 5 times that made my profile academically suitable.

I loved how faculties are friendly and supportive.
I like the overall environment of the students.

The office staff is very good and helps in every problem that is faced by a child and provides solution for that.
The teachers are supportive and helps students with great conceptual lectures.
The campus has a huge area and gymnasium and big grounds are available for physical fitness and games.

Dislikes

The toilets are not clean and it should be taken care of because it looks very unhygienic.
There are some students who come to college just for making the environment bad and also the College ID is not checked so anyone can enter the campus easily.
The fans and benches for students are very old and should be changed because it cause discomfort for the students.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, the students are eligible for Placements. Wipro TATA INFOSYS Accenture ICICI bank Mahindra Are the some companies where studets gets placed. It think the highest package was 20 LPA and lowest package is 2.4 LPA. 25- 30 percent students are placed. My plan is to persue MBA after getting the BBA degree while doing a job.

Real world experience with Good Projects

First i went to 2 to 3 colleges in kanpur that are PSIT, AXIS college, KIT and then my college which is Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies the reason to visit these colleges it to compare the fees structure and and all other things like palcement support, library and all other factors. And when i compared the fee structure of my college with the other colleges it was less as compared to others my college fees was 150000 for 3 years and rest are like 200000, 250000 and 300000. and in my college first we have to clear the kanpur university paper then we can take admission and the cutoff for this paper is 60% and your overall academic percentage should not be less than 50%. I did not received any rejection from any colleges i rejected the colleges because of lack of amenities and outdated curriculum and when i comapred my college with others it has all updated curriculam with good labs and libraries which was not good there in other colleges i visited....Read More

My Honest Experience at VISCS

I chose this college because this college is very near from my home. Fee structure of this college is also very nice and affordable for my parents to afford. BCA placement of my college is the best in the city and this college was also recommended to me from my elder cousins and friends so that why I chose this college. If I compare my college to PSIT which is best in the city that is also in Kanpur I will say that my college is better in the BCA department as the placement of BCA in my college very good PSIT is great for the students who want to pursue B.TECH. Before applying to this college I applied for BA LLB from DU (Delhi University). But I could not go there because at that time it was needed for me to remain at my home because of some problems as I told previously.
