Our college has the best infrastructure and academics. We have sports and events with much dedication and support. Never miss out to grab an opportunity to be a pat of this college.

Entrance Preview

I didn't had to appear any entrance exams, but had to score good marks in HSC exams. They alloted me admissions and I chose to pursue my BMS studies for doing MBA later on.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is the same as other colleges. It sticks to the norms of Mumbai University. The exam schedule and syllabus are according to the University.

Internships Opportunities

Internship haven't been done yet. Its my first year and internships are normally held in final year. Hope to have a good internship in the future.

Placement Experience

Our college has few placements conducted by some companies. TCS, Capgemini are some companies who come and recruit few students with the package decided by them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is best in infrastructure and it provides the best amenities like playground and garden. Academics is also excellent in our college. So the fees is a bit more here. My fee was charged which amounted to 9000 per year. It is a bit costly yet worth.

Faculty

Our faculty is a best one. It has high qualified teachers, and staffs with Phd passed outs, etc. They are very friendly and supportive and they help us in overall growth and success.

Bachelor of Business administration is course with 6 subjects per semesters and From 2nd year you have to choose one specializtion and from that year 4 subjects are common and 2 are special subjects. There not so much practicallity in course but ok .

The campus placements do come to for Somaiya colleges but they are not so good as the amount we are paying for the fees and the category that this college comes under they should provide at least average placements of 6 to 7 lakhs bare minimum but they do not provide that much higher placements even after paying so much fees and even after considering themselves that a very high level high profile college and university that is your relax today I appeared for an placement interview which was very unprofessional it was a campus placement it was very and professional and that will not even speaking in English it was for a cell strainy but it was not expected from the college side that they are conducting this kinds of placements

A great overall experience

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus placements, many big companies visit such as Google, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, JP Morgan, etc. The highest package is at a whopping 30 lakh and the average salary stays around 12 lakh. Most of the students get placed, my plans after getting the degree is to pursue MBA.

Excellency at its best

Remarks:

THe college in all is very good. There is nothing the college quite needs to excel at. I would personally like it if the college works a bit more on their placement activities and conducts them in accordance to the students. There an be a few infrastructural improvements too but those are in consistent progressions. I am glad I am a part of the UBS network and will definitely pass out as a happy alumni with flying colours.

S M Shetty: Suburban Mumbai's Best College.

Bunts Sangha's S. M. Shetty College of Science, Commerce, and Management Studies is a Mumbai University affiliated institute based in Powai, Mumbai. Being someone who lives in the suburbs, made travel really easy. Apart from that, the college has pretty good infrastructure and the locality is also fairly posh. When it comes to BMM, the college has some of the best faculty (including visiting faculty). The college is also very conducive to internships and extra curricular for students. The downside of this particular institute is that the peer set is not the finest. A key disadvantage when compared to major MU colleges is that since it is a fairly young institute, it doesn't have high recall value in the corporate world which makes getting internships and jobs in MNCs a little tough.
