Remarks

The college is overall good in various matters.Timely examinations and timely results are a plus point as compared to other colleges in the city.The girls are taught to be self dependent here.

Entrance Preview

I didn't gave any entrance examination.If you want to take admission in this college the only criteria is to score more than 60 percent marks in your last examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is autonomous and is a constituent of Kolhan University.It was very good.The B.Com course is based on CBCS(Choice Based Credit System) pattern.So we have the freedom to select our choice of subjects which we want to study.The B.Com course is for 3 years each year divided in two semesters.Each semester has five subjects.

Internships Opportunities

No the college didn't provide any internship.But the students are free to do internship at their place of choice.However the college does provides the information of various internships available on the notice board for the students.I did internship at a CA Firm as an accounts assistant.The average stipend provided was around Rs. 5000 per month.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario in our college is very good .Companies visit our college every year in the month of November and December.Over 40 percent of the students get placed every year.The major companies which visited the campus were Concentrix,IBM, Genpact,Wipro and TCS and many other companies.The average package offered was around Rs.180000 p.a.

College Events

The college organises various fests all over the year. On the occasion of Womens Day every year a mega fest is organised by the college.The college also organises many conferences at national and internatioal level .The organisation is very well and the college authorities did contribute for the same.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very affordable.The yearly fees amounts to less than Rs.6000 payable in two semesters. At the time of admission fees is Rs.3000 and after that you have to pay Rs 2000 for admission in each semester and Rs.1600 for examination in every semester.The above fees structure is for General Category students.For SC/ST students they get concession in the fees.Even students admitted through sports quota get a scholorship too..

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes ,the college provided scholarship to the schedule caste and schedule tribe students.The college also provides scholarship to Sports Quota Students as well.No i didn't avail any scholarship.Yes the college helps the students in getting loan.

Campus Life

Yes, the college organizes various inter college competitions and is very active in extracurricular activities.Yes i did got ample opportunities to explore my inner talent.The Lucus Pacioli Club of the commerce department organises a debate and poem recitation fest every year..

Hostel Facilities

No i was not residing in hostel.But we have 2 hostels inside the college campus.And many PGs are also available near the college.The hostel rooms are on sharing basis.Each room has 6 students.The fees is very affordable.It is around Rs.2000 per month which includes the food as well.The hostel is well maintained and the food provided is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of the college is very supportive.Yes the college provides facility of student-alumni interaction during the orientation ceremony for the students.

Exam Structure

We have semester wise examination system .So every six months we have our end semester exams in the month of may and december. And in between mid-semester exams of 20 marks are held in the month of september and march.We don't feel tired at all and the exams here are a chill culture.

The faculty for B.Com are highly qualified and have an experience of more than 20 years in teaching.The faculty are always available for clarifing doubts of the students and are helpful.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Concentrix, reliance jio, Yamaha motor Pvt Ltd, v Poddar, and associates, etc visited my college for placement the offers made of about in starting 20000 to 30000 salary will be given. The highest package is of 100000 and average package is of 50000 they offers. 80 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to get job in one of these companies after getting the degree.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.
