Overall a wonderful experience

No bad remarks about my college. It was a pleasant stay for the 4 years where i blossomed and cherished and came out with flying colors

I have cleared UPSEE which is conducted by G.B. Technical University. I have dreams of joining this college right from my high school due to facilities, infrastructure that this college has. There wasn't any interview process . I have chosen computer science engineering as I was interested in coding and wanted to script and write programs in computer languages.

The course was very well explained. We had many labs almost a lab for every subject . So a lot of focus was given on practical learning. No research initiatives were taken by our college.

The college didn't provide any internship . However, we took internship in Deloitte for 3 months , we got a very good experience dealing with workflow. we learnt the ways on how the professionals dealt with their clients. We were offered 5000 per month as stipend.

Placements were good and most of the seniors were placed from the senior batch. About 60 percent of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was about 7 lacs per annum and the lowest was about 3 lacs per annum. Companies like Wipro, Cetpa, Infosys, Amazon, etc visited our campus.

We had TechVeda as our technical fest conducted once a year where our college hosted many events which promoted skills, arts and fun. We had many game,food and music stalls and was conducted on a large scale. we had close to 3000 people attending it. The college authorities took a lot of initiatives in setting up banners and in canvassing.

The college fees was very high and we had to apply for a education loan to pay it. We had to pay 1,28,000 each for the first 2 years of engineering and 1,10,000 for the remaining 2 yrs of engineering.

College provided scholarship who have cleared the UPSEE exam with merit by waiving off their 1st year fee by 50%. I didnt avail any scholarship. Yes, the college helped in getting loans from the bank by sending an email from the college to the bank manager. We were offered loans at minimal interests and without any security.

We had sports, arts being encouraged in our colleges. I have learnt music during my college stay. We had large facilities for this.

Yes, I was residing in a hostel. We had both single rooms and sharing rooms . Our hostels were nothing but a PG itself . We paid 50000 per year as the hostel fees. Food was very tasty and healthy food was served at our hostel.

We had a very good Alumni interaction. In the month of February, all the seniors would gather at the college to share their experiences with college mates and juniors. The college took all the pains in gathering them.

We had quizzes on the subjects every Monday and Saturday of the week. Basically, I had to study the whole week to prepare for Saturday quiz and then on Sunday too to prepare for Monday quiz. It was very hectic as it was a stressful situation for me every week.

Yes, the faculty was very helpful, knowledgeable and qualified in their fields. Teaching methods like smart labs, labs, projectors, seminars, etc. were used. There is also the facility for the tutorial classes where I cleared my queries about the concepts that were taught in the regular classes.
