Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen medical course because it's my passion and this career option has bright future in India. In this Medical College, the number of seats is decided by the government of Uttar Pradesh because this college is in respective state. Ine rohilkhand college from 2022 batch the number of seat for the MBBS courses 250 so, my batch strength is also 250. Faculty for the first year is very nice and very good in number in this college there is never lack of faculty, we have separate teachers for embryology department for histology department for dissection hall. All the faculty of the college is doctors either MBBS or MD, some biochemistry department teachers are MSc PHD. Term exams held every 4 months in the college, it is never difficult to pass these terminal examination, the main thing is that it is not hard to pass the examination but the hardest part is you have to study daily this is hard for the course.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is no internship offered in the MBBS colleges as are course is compulsory to be extended to one year for internship in the college Hospital itself. The salary during the internship year is decided by the government of the respective state which is currently 12000 per month by the Uttar Pradesh government. with regards to MBBS course a student has to complete 4.5 years of his or her study followed by 1 year of internship in the respective College's Hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

As rohilkhand college is private college for MBBS course so there we cannot demand any reduction in fees because the fees is decided by the government of Uttar Pradesh or government of their respective States, there is no financial scholarship provided in the college neither any financial assistance or campus jobs are available. But according to her member of middle class family the fees for private medical colleges too much and is almost non affordable.

Campus Life

3

There is organisation of annual fest in the college but it is not for juniors of the first year students it is especially for the senior students it held ones in the year. The campus has a central library with availability of all books and journals for the MBBS course and as well as MD and Ms course. There is Lecture theatre 4 each and every batch, with a good sound system and nice audio visual presentation method with a projector and screen with blackboard. The campus is well acted with all the different sport grounds and seniors and juniors together play all the game in the campus including cricket ground basketball ground football ground hockey ground. There is no social group clubs or website by the students run by the students for the students in the college because it is MBBS college and there is no such extra curricular things in MBBS course.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Especially the hostel facility for the first year students as very good. Rooms are well equipped in ventilated with personal balcony in the rooms and availability of AC is also available with extra charge of 25000 per year. Meal quality and menu is very good with different variety of sweets deserts and spicy and normal food. There is compulsion to take a hostel in the college this college is situated in Bareilly if a student is from Bareilly itself he or she is compiled to take admission in the hostel.

Admission

One has to qualify +2 examination with 65 percentage in PCB. Then has to qualify National eligibility cum entrance test. NTA website releases neet examination schedule application form and application fees to be filled their prior about 1 month before to the examination. Then after the result announced by NTA, one has to go through the counselling process of respective state. I have chosen college in Uttar Pradesh state so I go through the counselling website of Uttar Pradesh state through updgme.com , all the schedule of the counselling and admission process will be detailed there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overrated no doubt but at the end it all worth it when you treat the patient. Currently NMC guidelines are clinically directed but the way college fulfills it are not up to the guidelines. After doing MBBS in this college you are not that much confident to prescribe any medication independently. Education here is more theoretical than practical. College can improve it by giving more practical knowledge on real patients. Due to lots of junior residents, MBBS students get less chance to perform any clinical activities.

I don't think I really need to say something about the relevance of mbbs as course. You become a doctor after completing your cumbersome 5 year that itself is very relevant. You come so many different types and flavours of people during this time. You just need to enjoy the process

Course Curriculum Overview:

My curriculum is a study of real life where you're handling a whole life in your hands . You have to deal with them beside your ego and emotion. It prepares us for the real world . However, I think ENT and Optha should move back to 3rd year to reduce the load of 4th year. The frequency of examination are once in 2.5 months but you get only a month or 20 days gap between your PU and proffs. Proffs are do or die ,which I find most difficult.
