Remarks

SSIM is world-best college developing on globally competing level. SSIM have extended it's studies with foreign collaboration. It facilitates foreign educational tour. It is accompanied with foreign language. It have tie up with oracle. It is an official member of NEN i.e. National Entrepreneurship Network to develop officially trained business-persons. It is having students all across India with International exposure. Although it is not ranked number 1 over India but it's overall designed structure is to implement best of the over-all development of the candidate. It indulge students on to modular track to be outstanding in every field

Entrance Preview

SSIM is ranked among top 50 B-Schools of India. It is most premier institute offering triple specialization and so far there are only 2 to 5 such branded colleges offering this course and SSIM is the most premier among them. It takes students on the basis of CAT/MAT score and rigorous procedure of selection is followed to chose best of the gems. It scrutinize applications on the basis of percentages achieved so far and All India entrance exams them they have aptitude test, GD/PI. I wanted to develop specialized skills in multiple fields to be applicable for higher positions in companies so I opted for triple specialization.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As I mentioned earlier also SSIM is the most premier institute offering triple specialization. It has excel in the filed of education and have completed 25 years serving students. So course curriculum designed is also designed to develop best brains and specialize multi-tasking skills. They have one of the best applied education where in practical exposure is done in terms of research projects, live projects, symposiums, conferences, inter-college competitions and cultural programs. Students are prompted towards social work and marketing activities too. They have innovative outbound training as well to enhance confidence and deal with tackling situations. Induction program is designed in such a manner to teach inter and intra personal skills among the candidates. Every semester students are given research project based on real- companies to develop working and research attitude. They have launched research journal as well which is affiliated in the UGC list as being eligible to promote research scholars articles as well as to oblige Ph.D holders or pursuing that

Internships Opportunities

College offered internships to all its students. I wanted to have exposure in PSU so I did internship in one of the nav-ratan companies i.e. BHEL. For company like BHEL being associated with them is more worthy then getting stipend. Our college paid attention to our training into branded companies offering f=best learning structure and most of the the brands don't pay stidend so average might be 5000 per month

Placement Experience

5

SSIM offers 100% placement and it is maintaining the same since many years. During my studies also 100% students got placed with companies such as ICICI, HDFC, Allahbad bank, Delloite, Kotak, Panasonic, Naukari.com, TIME etc. World was facing recession during 2010 even though 100% students got placed with Multinational companies as well. Average package as per me must have reached 4.5 lakh during my batch

College Events

5

SSIM organizes one large-scale mangement fest every year inviting companies and students from other colleges in which competitions are organized. That's the lime-light of Andhra Pradesh as students travel from outside city also to participate into that. Outbound training is organized for fresher in Divya resort every year with para-gliding, rock-climbing,ball game, boat games etc. Social fests are common every year. They involve students for raising funds for the needy people. PGDM is about business and management so sports are not given that much attention but basic games like cricket, football, TT are oragnized for fun in which even staff participates to involve with students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

During my course total fees was 6.25 lakh for the whole course. 1st installment at the time of admission 4.25 and after 6 months 2nd installment is 2 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

College give 100% fees return to the toppers of the batch along with gold, silver and bronze medals. Various other ways are also there to avail discounts in fees payment which keep on changing time to time. Student's loan is provided by banks with the help of college

Campus Life

5

College have well-designed structure to indulge class-room teachings in the fresh-minds via extra-curricular activities. They start with induction program where students do research on books and outside to give presentations. Games are organized to recognize hidden-talents which are direction towards developing skills and quality. Even weaknesses are detected via faculties and are suggested with professional guidance and training. New innovation is developed into students and modular techniques are utilized to indulge students into extra-curricular development with the utmost satisfaction.

Hostel Facilities

5

They offer double seater rooms with attached balcony and wash-rooms. For safety measures fencing is done around balcony even up-side as well. Students is equipped with chair-table and cupboards per head. They have hot- water facilities for which they are equipped with solar panels. It is constructed in such a manner to get maximum ventilation and light inside and is facing huge green-lush gardens to create appropriate environment for studies.

Alumni/Alumna

SSIM is having an alumni club to develop network all across India. During course-curriculam only students are made part of alumni network. Alumni members are invited to share their experiences. Many alumni are running there own businesses so they are invited to offer entrepreneurship training or internships. Alumni have interactions through work-shops or conferences where in alumni talk about their exposure, performances, leanings as well as field of expertise. Alumni is all about getting directions and developing networks.

Exam Structure

Exam is hectic in most of the studies but when it comes to top- most institutes it is more tiresome. Students use to wake up day and night and getting even a sleep of 1 hour was a big loss during exams. Vast syllabus and multiple channels of studies made it a center point of learning from all the directions. As human brain has its limits so as the night schedule otherwise upgradation as per college standards seems impossible. Field is the lab where PGDM students recedes and it does not need explanation that its tiring

Faculty

5

Only experienced and qualified faculties are hired. They are shortlisted on the basis of certain criteria and as per industrial norms. On an average at least minimum of 4-5 years of experience or Ph.D degree make them eligible for teaching. Maximum faculties have research experience as well. Corporate experience makes them understand student's mind-set easily and develop skills to suit industrial culture. Business is a field which makes people interactive and same is true with studies associated with it which helps faculties to get best out of students. Teaching methodology is directed for 360 degree career development of a responsible citizen
