Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Faculty of the college is good. They are experienced. The medical exposure is good and we get to see great cases. The university conducts exam late and the course of our batch is delayed but after 2023 batch the curriculum is going according to nmc. If you study well and follow a specific pattern of writing your answers you will be able to score good marks.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

You have to complete a year of internship in the college where you work in all the departments for the given time period. The exposure you get is great during your internship and the stipend is good as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarships for people who are economically weaker and provide other various schemes for helping them as well.. the fee is 1 lakh tution and along with hostel and other charges it comes to 1,14,000 per year. There has been increase in fee after 2018. The stipend given by college during internship is around 20000 per month

Campus Life

4.5

The college has an annual fest organised by the student committee.. it has many events related to culture, literature and sports... There are online competitions as well. The departments of college organise events and conpetitions based on relevant topics like organ donation week. There are workshops in college regarding basic life support, etc to keep you informed

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities are good compared to other medical colleges. The girls hostel is newly constructed and the infrastructure is good in the hostel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Sometimes there are issues regarding water and electricity but they are resolved soon

Admission

Gave NEET-UG, scored appropriate marks. I scored 635 /720 and rank of 7000. Followed counselling according to All India Counseling. Set colleges according to preference.. After allotment of college, refer with college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
