Remarks

The College was Good. There is a bus facility available to the students and they do have a big range of transport. We also have good unity among us. But I would like to add that the building was very old. And also the Teaching that offered was Good and satisfying.

Entrance Preview

No there is no need to write any entrance exam for this course. I got this college from the good cut-off percentage I obtained in my 12th exams. No there is no interview process followed by the college. I chose this course as I was very interested in this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course I chose was pretty good according to me. They do give much focus on the practical learning of the concept. They do teach us more practically than theory. Yes, we do have Research Initiatives organized in our college. Currently there is a research centre available for pharmacology drugs. But we do not have elective options available to us.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there are internship offers made available to us by the college and some of them by our faculties. I did take part in such internships and I can say that it was a very good experience for me. But there was no stipend amount for us.

Placement Experience

3

No we do not any placement facilities available for us since I’m studying M.B.B.S. We do not get any job offers, but we do have to find jobs by our self. But the faculties do help us by recommending us or providing contacts. But they do help us by improving our skills and our way of presentation.

College Events

4

Yes, the college did have a lot fest organized for the students. Most of them were cultural events. They were very big, as some the events would last for 4 days. I have not attended much of the events so I cannot say much about the average footfall. The students will only have to contribute to the preparation of the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fees structure was affordable for us. It costed us around Rs. 13,000 for a single year. And the fees included Tuition Fees, Exam Fees, Laboratory Fees, Mess Fees, Library fees, Books fees. They also have only one option available to make the payments of the fees that is to pay annually as far as I know.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, our college does have a good scholarship facility available. Yes, I did avail the scholarship for from the college. They also help by providing educational loans to the needy students. There are also third party loan options available around the campus, such as we have a state bank that does provide educational loan to the students.

Campus Life

3

Yes, the college does have extracurricular activities for us. They have many events in which we can take part out of which some are sports, cultural, and many more. But there is not much facilities available. We only have a sports ground and coach.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Yes, the college does provide hostel facility and I also stay in the hostel. The rooms are medium in size and there are at least two sharing in each room. No, there are no PGs available around the college. The hostel fee is around Rs. 5,000 per month or Rs. 60,000 for the whole year. The hostel food is not tasty at all.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we do have a good communication with our college alumni. Yes, the college does provide us a platform for a better student-alumni interaction. And also the alumni do contribute to the overall development of the college.

Exam Structure

The exams that were held in our college were pretty easy for us. Yes, we do have internal exams. They are usually 1 subject per day and for continuous days. But we do not have any lab exams. The externals were also easy enough. But the 1st year exams were pretty tough. We do not have any holidays between the exams and they are continuous. They were chill culture for us.

Faculty

4

Of course, we have well qualified faculties that teach us and are also highly experienced. We have faculties who are qualified and experienced in surgery, MS, Medicine, MD, Ortho, Gynaecology and so on. They are very much interactive with us and are also very friendly with the students. Overall the standard of teaching is Good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
