Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do btech thats whybi joined tha course. And the faculty student ratio is also avg like there are 2 teachers per classroom. All the teachers are well quaified and most of them have done M.tech and PHD from IITs

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Wipro, infosis, tech mahindra, delloit , mangalam, bosch , etc well renowned compaines are providing goofd internship opportunities for the internship. Students are given projects too in the classroom by the professors. And on the basis of that they get internship

Placement Experience

From 3rd sem we are eligible for internship and from 6th sem end and whole 7th and 8th sem sutendts are eligible for placemensts. In year 2023, 443 companies have visited the campus. 64 lakhs is the highest package and avg is 7LPA. APPROX 50 % Std . Gets the placement in theri 7th sem

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is very normal and as its a govt technical university for bechlors course so, the course fee is good like in this university the fee is devided into SFS and GAS seats if a student have SFs seat then the course fee will be quite high . And every type or scholarship are availble which are issued by state and central govt too

Campus Life

Annual fest is ANUKRITI and Tech fest is THAR which is about to come in januaray2024 on the date 22.01.2024 to 25.01.2024. Library is well furnished and occupied with the latest and oldest books of each and every authors which are needed in the course and also novals , papers, magzines, manuscripts etc are there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are well equipped . Basic needs of a student are fulfilled like study table, chair, bed , fan, light and well maintained door. Hostel mess is absoultely fantastic , you will not feel like you are eeating a animal food , its quite similar to home made food.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of course depends on the jee mains cuttoff. And 12th percentage. Its appilication form is named as REAP. If belongs to SC, ST, OBC then there is concession. Everything is fine . no any other problem is there with the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the curriculam is good easily accesable and reachable and i have selected electronics only because i have interested in it from the very starting and the curriculam is good for me. Yes the curriculam helps to solve the real world probelm but not at all as most of it are theoritical and but some lab experiments and good. Exams are held every 2 months sometimes it become difficult to face the exams.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

Admission process was very tired. Admission happened through reap . Reap is an admission process. I didn't conduct any exam. But the reap rank was decided on the basis of jee mains rank. Forms for reap are available in June or july month. Application fees is not that high, it is quite reasonable. The eligibility of course is 4 years.
