I did diploma in mechanical engineering because there is lot of scope in this field.. Placements are very good in this field. Initially package is low but after gaining experience only sky is limit. Both private and public sectors opportunities are there

Placement Experience

Placements are very good specially for mechanical branch. About 95% people get placements averege annuall ctc is 150000. Some students get higher package upto 3.5 lakh. Assistance from placement department are very good

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structute is good Fees can be paid on semster basis. 6500 per semester. And examination fees are excluded from this. There are scholarship for bright students and for those from sc st background.

Campus Life

Life is very good there Annual sports day is there.. Cultural parties and ncc party are also there. Freshers parties and farewell parties are regularly conducted for students. Technical study tour are also there

Admission

Admission is through an entrance exam called JEEP. It can be given by 10th and 12th class. After 10th there will be three years of engineering and after 12th two years. Application form can pe purchased from government polytechnic Institute.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible to get in campus selection. There is many companies visited in our collage. Some of thies company is tcs, wipro, iocl, and many others. The highest placement of our collage is 42 lakhs/annum.and average placement of our collage is 5 lakhs. There is 90% of student got placed in our collage previous year. My plan after degree is moving towards higher education.

Government Polytechnic Srinagar Garhwal Uttarakhand Review

I reviewed many colleges before filling the choice in counseling but because of its available faculty I choose this college and it is near the main NIT Srinagar so I believe that I get motivation for my next step towards higher education if I get near an educational place and this college is also in Srinagar city, in the hills getting a college near the city is too difficult. I've availed for the TFW quota there are only two seats in each branch for TFW students and luckily I got one after filling in counseling. Admission criteria fully depend on the marks or rank you got on the basis of the exam known as JEEP(Joint Entrance Examination Of Polytechnic) and after the result counseling portal will open and you have to choose which course you wanted to apply to and where from the list of colleges and after getting your choice, of course, you have to go to your college on the given date and submit your documents which are required for admission process.
