Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was Agriculture, because there are many job opportunities in both private and government sector, student ratio was higher than faculty at my time of studying there, teaching methods were both theorytical and practical teachers were enthusiastic about teaching the students and always motivated to do good what you do and were helpful but some teachers do favouritism that is universal, exams were conducted both internal and external exam and it was not so difficult to pass if you studied well.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are there in the last semester it is wholly dedicated to that for practical ground work, the internship I have done was associated with Uttarakhand government of agriculture branches, so it is not much a hassle, we did learn mushroom Cultivation, Apiculture, food processing, and did village survey and met with local villagers there, with the whole 6 months time you can complete your internship and get the certificate .

Placement Experience

3

After 8th semester students become eligible for jobs, in that period college provide internship and practical field work like we did Rave, and did mushroom Cultivation, Village Survey etc . Maximum students don't choose placement provided by college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was not so high, I have done Bsc Agriculture so 1semester fee was around 28,000 rupees and we had total 8 semesters , financially college was sympathetic to students if they didn't pay fees in time than college provides them grace period to submit fee anytime before getting the degree in their hands.

Campus Life

4

The campus was not so large but was very happening and had one kanteen, the students were friendly and make friends with each other and there was many to explore like meeting students from different states of India. There was a basketball court and volleyball court.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel was average and you have to share room with your fellow student room partner, the meal quality was average and sometimes poor one time students complained and they changed the cook, the registration process was with admission process if you choose living in hostel and it is affordable.

Admission

The admission process was direct, no exam were conducted, 1st Division is required in your High school to get entrance, application form is available online on the college site, but can also be applied offline, admission process is good some improvements maybe required.

Placement Experience:

In the final year or last semester, the student is eligible for campus placement, not at all courses placement is available, professional courses the eligible, but all the degree is valuable because it is gov. College. You have to maintain a percentage in every semester for getting a placement minimum of 65%. My plans after my degree are to do MSC.agriculture.
