Dislikes
- The sanitation facility of the college needs to be improved. Hygenic water tape facility was not available.
- There was no Boys hostel for the college. As there was many male students from far off places, boys hostel is a must.
- The infrastructure facility for every class need to improved. Smart class facility and desk and bench needs to be updated.
Course Curriculum Overview
Generally, B.A. Political Science courses include subjects like Public Administration, International Relations, Political Theory, Comparative Politics, etc. I pursued this course because I am interested in Public Administration and International Relations. It's exciting as this course includes many curriculum activities like fieldwork in remote areas and collecting related data. Teachers are mostly Ph.D. in respected areas, very interactive, and supportive in any situation I face. Exams were conducted twice a year, and the questions ranged from easy to moderate. It's not easy but also not difficult as I have studied for the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was very affordable. It's around Rs 3500. The semester exam forms fill-up fee was around Rs 1200. There was a Scholarship facility for reserve students like SC, ST, and OBC. The scholarship amount was a little more for hostel students if the hostel certificate was provided. With the scholarship amount, the students can easily cover their annual expenses.
Campus Life
Annually, the College celebrates Freshers Meet in June/ July, Literary Meet in August, and Teachers Day in September. The College also celebrates and holds many other functions and competitions like Debate competitions, Essay competitions, etc. There was a library near the College's A-block. For every department, there was also a small library. There was an innovative class for some departments, but for some, the facility wasn't there. I can find all the necessary documents, books, newspapers, magazines, etc. An annual Sports meet was held every year. NSS and NCC were there on the college campus.
Admission
First, I filled out the application form, which was available on the A-block of the college. Then, I took the entrance exam, which was conducted by the college authorities. After I passed the entrance exam, I was eligible for admission. The Admission fee was 3500 (approx). I have provided the required documents per the college's admission norms. Then, I was admitted for the B.A. courses and pursued my education.
