Course Curriculum Overview
I choosen this course because I wanted to learn about business. Faculty and student ratio is 1:1, they explain each and every concepts and also provide notes, clear doubt. Most of our professor are highly qualified they hold PhD. Every time term exams was on exact date which was decided previously by examination department. Student who study, for them it is not difficult to score good marks but for students who are least interested in studies my suffer to score marks or may get fail.
Placement Experience
In sixth semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Mahindra, Bijus and many more visited in campus. Due to covid I didn't appeared in placement and extended my studies. 50-70% student get placed and average package is 4 LPA and maximum 7LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike every year, course is not affordable by everyone, it costed around 350000. I did not get any scholarship, financial assistance. Completed my course during covid, due to which campus jobs was very less or equal to nil.
Campus Life
Bitotsav is the annual fest celebrate by both BIT Mesra and BIT extension in main campus, it mainly conduct in month of January. Books are available in library. Amenities are not good, washroom classrooms are dirty. There was groups of students who take care of any sports and extra curricular activities on the campus, it was mainly runned and managed by students. One social group was also there which was NSS.
Admission
Minimum marks 75-80% which is required for non-reservation category. Application form, fees and date can be easily find on college website. Admission process is smooth and hustle free, one should prepare demand draft as first semester fees before admission process start so that it would not take much time and all certificate marksheet need to be prepared and arranged properly by students. BIT do provide reservation facilities to reserved category.
