Nice college to pursue Btech for GATE aspirants

College management is okay. Not that bad. Conclusion: We can join in this college. Exams are more than up to the mark. We can prepare for GATE exam on our own due to the standard of syllabus. We cant expect anything from staff. They are not good enough to

We need to write EAMCET(Andhra Pradesh - Entrance examination for joining for Btech). I got 5028 rank in EAMCET. Aftere getting rank there will be counseling through we which we need to select the course and college. This is one of the good colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

I did Information Technology. It contains all basic computer languages including Micro Processors, Circuit Theory, Engineering Mechanics. In electives, We can choose Artificial Intelligence along with some other courses. IT department is not that much good but syllabus will be in such a way that it helps us to prepare for GATE examination. Affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. Syllabus is very standard and helpful for further studies after Btech.

There will not be any internship offers. Forget about stipend.

Every year Bapatla Engineering college students get selected in TCS, HCL, WIPRO and Virtusa. More than this no more companies will come to choose students. They offer maximum 3.5 lakhs per annum package. Every year 100-150 students get selected in IT companies(Service based). Also from CIVIL Engineering department almost all the people get placement as CIVIL/Mechanical department is good in our college.

Our college hardly celebrate these kind of festivals. They encourage to participate in paper presentation contests those are happening in other colleges. Same is for cultural events. Our college management has no space and enthusiasm to hold and conduct such events.

Fee structure is very feasible. Not expensive at all. When I finished my engineering from this college fee structure was 26000 per year(including 2 semesters). And exam fee is additional. No other fee they will collect.

There wont be any scholarship/loan provided. Fee is very affordable so no such facilities are needed.

College is very good with respect to infrastructure. There is no racism or religion problems. There is caste feeling(Chowdary caste - Non management staff and students also show partiality). Politics do not play much role. Workshops and cultural activities are very less in college.

There is no hostal for guys. Hostel facility is only available for girls. Food is good in hostel and no problems in that. There is solar system for water heating. Internet facility will be there in hostel. College canteen's food is very cheap and hygenic.

All this alumni network and senior students are trash. They wont help in any manner. We need to have our own network with friends. College management always send mails to gather alumni which is no way helpful.

Exams and lab exams are very tough. They happen on time without any difficulties. They have proper time table for this. Faculty conducts exams on time and questions level is very good and up to the mark. Daily classes are from morning 7:30 to 1:00pm.

Faculty of college is not up to the mark. There are always fresh Btech completed lecturers who do not know how to teach. They just do time pass with powerpoint slides and programming standards in computer labs are also not standard. So ultimately, We need
