A chance to sharpen my skills

Overall from my point of view a college is good or bad by their infrastructure, faculties and management system of college. How is the faculties behavior towards the student and how is their way of teaching. My over all experience is satisfactory towards the college.

Every college has two admission procedure, one is through counselling and latter one is management quota. I am admitted in the college through management quota. There is no any interview process followed. I was having in technical section therefore, I have chosen b.tech course and since I was keenly interested in automobile sector therefore i have selected mechanical branch.

Since b.tech course has tremendous craze so i have taken admission in this. It makes us technically sound and to enhance our technical knowledge and skills. It will lead us to be a responsible engineers who will evolve into innovators and entrepreneurs capable of delivering out standing solutions.Practicals are as equally important as theory section and must be emphasis on them. In our college practical learning focus is quite usual. Researches regarding SWACHCHH BHARAT ABHIYAN by disposal of cow dung through composting we made bio gas for hostel mess. As elective subjects we have subjects like ENTERPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT, MECHANICAL SYSTEM DESIGN, AND COMPUTER AIDED MANUFACTURING.

Yes college provides internships two times ( summer and winter) in a year. I don't have any experience related to internship.

Placement scenario is optimum in our and average of 40% students get placed by the institution every year.The major companies which have visited in our campus are like CAPAGEMINI, HCL , SHIVANGI LTD, COCA-COLA etc. The average package is about to 2.5 to 3.5 lacks per anum. Some other modes of placements are through CO-CUBES, ISHRAE etc.

Several seminars and guest lectures with workshops are conducted in our institute . We have exhibition and demonstration in our institute which are innovative and enhance our technical skills. In non technical events we have sports with indoor and outdoor games. DISHA is our annual fest which brings enjoyment with star night with famous personalities.

Our college is a private college but instead of that we have affordable fees. Our college fees is in first year is 96500 rs and after that we have to submit 84500 rs per year. According to me it is quite affordable than other private colleges of same standard.

No, college don't provide any scholarship to the students but the fees reimbursement and scholarship is provided by government of Uttar Pradesh. Yes, college provides loan to student from BANK OF INDIA .

We have extracurricular like as FOOTBALL MATCH , CRICKET MATCH , CHESS and much more things which are held in a week. No, I never got any opportunities to explore my inner talent in college extracurricular. College provides more facilities for all students like as to do a practice before doing a regular matches.

I resides in a private hostel but there is a little knowledge about hostel rooms of our college. There are rooms with three bed sharing but not two or single bed sharing. We don't have PGs in our college but separate rooms are available for students guardians . We pay 35000 rs for lodging and fooding. Food is not so good but eatable.

Yes college provides a platform for student alumni interaction. Yes alumni contributes in overall development of the college as well as the students.

There is no any student who loves examinations but it is a bitter truth that everyone who studies to face the examination. Exams and labs are often makes us to feel exhausted and a hindrence in enjoyment among students. From my side exams are not a chill culture.

Our college faculties are highly qualified with b.tech, m.tech and some are P.Hd holders. Some of them are highly motivating but some of them are not so active. They have more than five years of experience of academic session. Standard of teaching is quite normal so that any one can easily catch the lectures.
