KKWIEER just frankly

I choose this course because I wanted to go in NDA and it was just a backup. I had no plans of doing engineering whatsoever, but I got pretty good grades and so thats all.Also, I got conferenced out from SSB, so I have to do this now. When I was in first year there was a teacher for 69 students for theory classes; for practicals, we were divided into 3 batches each having another faculty and practical. In second year we have 77 students for theory lectures; and again 3 batches for practicals. as the college has gone autonomous recently they are experimenting with teaching techniques. Our first term exam didnt have preparatory leave, and since then,they have given it. Also, out term breaks are very very short, almost null. Exams are moderate for passing.

The internship companies come in ad offer the internship. they take tests and select interns. Then those interns go through mostly a one month internship. this is as far I have heard from the seniors.

Students are eligible for placemts from 6th semester. Highest Package: 18lakh. Average Package: 4lakh. My Plans after getting the degree are mostly to apply for the defense services, or I was lookig if I could folloew my passion of painting and make a career out of it.

I got admission in TFWS which is tution fee waiver scheme, which is solely based on merit, all we have to do is apply for that seat. It does not matter what category you belong to. So I have to pay only 15000 per year whereas my classmates of open category without a TFWS seat have to pay almost 1.8 lakhs per year. other scholarships are rare. obviously other than the category based fee waivers

Anuual fest is the most uninteresting, as soon as the clock hits 5pm, the watchmen tell the students to go out of college. The tech fests like several exhibitions and project development opportunities due to idea lab are great. Books and journals are available in the library, they also have an e book subscription. Almost every classroom has a cctv, projector and speaker. Sports is in full swing during the various interdepartmental competions, otherwise its just games, and not real sports practice. Whitespot is a filmmaking club, there are varoius technical clubs in KKWagh motor sports.

The ENtrance Exam was MHT-CET. The application form is there on the official website, as well as aal the further updates are given on the official website very clearly. As I had a 96.4 percentile, I had a chance of getting a seat in TFWS(Tuition fee waiver schme). I could have gotten the TFWS in Pune also(as it is considered as best for education in Maharsahtra) but I couldnt afford the hostel fee anyways, so I tookadmission in the best college in Nashik District, got a TFWS seat and pay only 15000 yearly fee. Well, there was a mistake on my part, instead of keeping Computer engineering on the top of my list, I put computer Science and Design (Thinking it was the Computer engineering course,it is a sub branch created in it )
