Dislikes

I don't like many things. First thing is curriculum is very old not updates . College fees paying process is very bad and outdated. No proper hygienic wash rooms are available in college. Library is with out any competitive books

I am interested in plant science so I opt for this course. Faculty are good . Limited number of students are taken in to college for balancing teacher and student ratio . Faculty are PhD holders in respective departments . Teaching is also good . But practical is not good . Exams are based on semister pattern . Quiz ,mid ,final sem and practical.are conducting during a semister. They are not difficult.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is some what high for me. Everyyear fees is increased. Scholarship are available. No campus placements are offering. Some rawep and elp.are conducted in final year. For that stipend is giving which is also low .

Campus Life

They are no fest conducted in college. Only.students are conducted freshers day and farewell with their own money. Only horticulture books are available no other books for competitive exams are available in library. Sports and games are good .

Admission

To get in to horticulture college one should get a good rank in eapcet exam . Based on cut off and reservation one can apply for councelling in ysrhu website.based on that you will be called for councelling in college. If you have have enough rank and eligibility you can opt for your dream college. College of horticulture vr gudem is main campus , college of horticulture anantarajpeta , college of horticulture parvatipuram, college of horticulture chinnalataripi are available in andhrapradesh . Application fees.may be 100 rs . . . If any body have farmer parents they can apply under farmer quota . Ews reservation is also applicable . Diploma in horticulture completed students can get in to by writing horticet. So far everything is good in admission process

Placement Experience:

Fromthird year last semister they used to get placements . But placements are very less in our college due to government University . Mostly the Banking sectors jobs the students will get . The highest package is around 8lpa Average is around 3-4lpa Very less percentage mostly used to prefer for government jobs and higher studies My plans is to go for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Many prefer to pursue higher studies than placements in this course. Many Agriculture related companies are involved in the placement. Placement percentage around 50%. After the degree, I plan to go for MBA in agri business management.

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.
