Course Curriculum Overview

. As there is immense scope in horticulture in coming years so i choose this course . Faculty:student - 1:5 . Faculty should get phd in horticulture courses . One semester about 6 months ,totally 8 semesters

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

. Cost to study is moderate and there is increase in fees every year . Scholarship we get is jagananna vidya deevana, job with stipend is Rural horticulture work experience programme, and experimental learning programme

Campus Life

. Freshers and college day, intercollege sports day will be conducted . Books and journals for different subject and competitive exams . Black board, projectors, slide, fans, benches, chairs etc . Sports based college and competition held every month . Sahrudaya- helping hands

Placement Experience:

Fromthird year last semister they used to get placements . But placements are very less in our college due to government University . Mostly the Banking sectors jobs the students will get . The highest package is around 8lpa Average is around 3-4lpa Very less percentage mostly used to prefer for government jobs and higher studies My plans is to go for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Many prefer to pursue higher studies than placements in this course. Many Agriculture related companies are involved in the placement. Placement percentage around 50%. After the degree, I plan to go for MBA in agri business management.

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.
