Course Curriculum Overview

If I have to talk about the about the course....I have taken the course Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and that's what I want and this is good. In my college the faculty is co- operative and kind, they support us in everything.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college, the average fee of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department is 60000. I belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and I'm eligible for the OBC scholarship that helps every middle-class family to afford the college fees. There is a good placement opportunity in my college.

Campus Life

The college campus is good in my college. And I'm a member of the Newton club, it is globally authorised. In my college, many of the functions and fest happen like, Gyanotsav, tech fest and hackathons. There was a good playground on campus.

Admission

The admission process is simple you need to score good percentile to get a good branch ut you will also get admission by 12 percentage and if you score above 80 percentile you will get tfw seat also.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

I do not have the detailed knowledge about placements of our college but i guess 900+ companies visits yearly in our college and almost every student gets placed.
