The collage campus is not that good it's not as big as I thought

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is decent and the faculty members are very nice to the students. The faculty members are really supportive and help students to solve their problems the teachers also train us about the placement and what to do in our final semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college, the average fee of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department is 60000. I belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and I'm eligible for the OBC scholarship which helps every middle-class family to afford college fees. There is a good placement opportunity in my college.

Campus Life

The college campus is good in my college. And I'm a member of the Newton Club, which is globally authorized. In my college, many of the functions and fest happen like Gyanotsav, tech fest, and hackathons. There was a good playground on campus.

Admission

The admission process is not as good as I expected. We have to take the entrance exam named JEE and after this, the percentile decides have you are worthy of that college or not. But many of the students don't know about JEE.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

I do not have the detailed knowledge about placements of our college but i guess 900+ companies visits yearly in our college and almost every student gets placed. I join the college in 2022 batch at that time tech was in boom and college has a good placement season that why i chose BTech Cs and take the admission The ccourse is overall good , but there are no internship opportunities in your third year of college so they need to improve on it.
