My Experience at Amity Jaipur as a Food Tech student

I was always passionate about food. I wanted to pursue a course that could give the possibility of merging food science and engineering for potentially effective applications. This made me choose the course. The faculty members are highly qualified and cooperating here. Exams and other assessments are done routinely.

The university offers various internships but the ones I did were not provided by the ctc. College. They were chosen and applied to by me only. I had the chance to work as an intern in Cremkca, HPMC, Patanjali, Ramani Ice-cream, Parle,

Placements are offered to each batch. Students are made eligible for placements post-year in a B. Tech Course or their respective final years. It can go as high as 40 lac per annum in the case of B. Tech CSE. For Food Technology, the average package can range anywhere from 4-6 lac per annum. Most of the students are placed.

The fee structure is just like any other private college, although lucrative scholarship benefits are available for meritorious students with up to 100% tuition fee waiver. Dr. Ashok K Chhana Scholarship is awarded to students with outstanding performance.

The annual fest is conducted every year in the month of April-May. It's called the Odyssey. Apart from this E-summit, DJ nights, Garba night, Janmashtami, Holli, and other celebrations are done with full enthusiasm.

Hostels are provided at an affordable cost. We are provided with basic amentias like a bed, almirah, table, chair, mattress, pillow, and bedsheet. 6 students share a flat with 2 living in one of the three rooms. A washroom and toilet facility is provided with a geyser. Registrations are made one admission is completed through an online portal called amazon. Apart from hostels, numerous pgs. are available in nearby areas like NIMS and Acholi.

One needs to score more than 55% in their higher secondary studies. Enrollments are done both online and in person. The application process and link for the same are well elucidated on the website. There are no such caste-based reservations on admission.
