Course Curriculum Overview
The rank that I got in JEE ADVANCE cleared the cutoff of this branch in the 6th round of JOSAA counseling. The faculty is really helpful and very qualified. They are easily approachable and Teaching assistants are available for your doubts and practice. There were two exams in a semester for each course, a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam. There can be occasional quizzes, presentations, and assignments according to the professors. The difficulty of the exams is of medium level.
Internships Opportunities
There are many roles available for internships in the college. Many companies that come to college for placement also offer internships. this occurs 1 year before the placements, i.e. in 3rd year. companies and stipend: Google: 1.2 lakhs per month, Uber: 1.7 lakhs per month, Microsoft: 1.25 lakhs per month, and many more. The Highest offer made was by APT Portfolio, which was 4.5 lakhs per month for 2 months, offered for a quant role.

Books are easily available in the main library and also in the departmental library. You can issue them using a library card and an ID card. An average classroom has a capacity of approximately 200 students, there are 12 classrooms in a lecture theatre and there are 3 such lecture theatres. There are many sports options (like cricket, football, badminton, kho kho, squash, kabaddi, hockey, boxing, and many more) available for students to join. Here students are provided the equipment to play and no extra fee is charged. There are many clubs/societies for students to join and interact and learn new skills and also make some good friends. There are many clubs like design, aeromodelling, dance, drama, business, astronomy and whatnot. There is also an entrepreneurship cell on the campus with associated incubators.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms for the first year and second year are triple sharing for boys and double sharing for girls, then for the rest of college, everyone has a double sharing room. The hostels are old so don't expect much from hostel rooms but they have all decent amenities like a bed, table, chair, cupboard, charging ports, LAN ports, 1 light, and 1 fan. The hostel also has basic amenities like wifi, water coolers, common washrooms, and 2-3 mess per hostel. The food is good and better than any average college in India. The hostel for second-year boys is exceptionally good because it is newly made and accommodates completed 2nd-year boys. Similarly, 3 more such hostels are being constructed and are really good. Hostel registration is also an easy ongoing process, just requires 2 to 3 documents.
Admission
Admission was through the entrance exam JEE MAINS followed by JEE ADVANCE. The rank achieved in JEE ADVANCE allowed me to participate in JOSSA Councelling, through which I got this college and branch. The eligibility for getting into an IIT is determined by a rank cutoff and you should have 75% marks in PCM in 12th boards. The application will be available on JOSSA Website after the result of JEE ADVANCE is published.
